Mauro Ranallo REJOINS the WWE.....?!!

From BR -

Quote:

Mauro Ranallo and the WWE reached an agreement for the energetic play-by-play broadcaster to join the company's NXT television crew. He previously worked on SmackDown.

Ranallo announced the new deal on his Instagram page Thursday.

"WWE and I mutually agreed to end my responsibilities on SmackDown having nothing to do with rumors about disputes," he wrote. "As I remained under contract with WWE, we discussed a variety of options. Despite originally agreeing to part ways, there was always a desire to continue working together. We have come to terms on a new agreement that benefits both WWE and me, and I am thrilled to announce I will now be part of the NXT broadcasting team."

They did Mae Young classic qualifications (The Women's Tournament) at the NXT tapings last night, one was the dark match, Binky Blair, now called Binky BelAir, beat Aliyah and Daniela Kamela won the other qualification match which might make it to air under the name Vanessa Bourne.

The new female ref, Kennadi Brink, was the ref for the dark match.

SEScoops and various other sources are reporting that Paige and Del Rio broke up in Orlando yesterday. They got in a big fight out of nowhere and Del Rio dumped her.

Expect her to be jobbing on SD as punishment when she goes crawling back to WWE.

BBfanUSA 25-06-2017 09:24 PM

Maybe they didn't? Although if they didn't break up she'd go out and say they didn't.

LaVar is actually on WWE :joker: Unreal.

BBfanUSA 26-06-2017 11:48 PM

Both Levar and Lonzo will be on Miz TV tonight, Curtis and Bo look great as Miz's cronies.

Women's Gauntlet Match to decide #1 contender as well at the PPV

The aftermath of the chaotic scene on Monday Night RAW involving LaVar Ball and sons Lonzo and LaMelo ended with WWE issuing a statement late Monday night regarding a racial slur used by 15-year-old LaMelo.

With LaVar jumping around the ring and eventually taking off his shirt to confront The Miz, LaMelo used the slur twice on the live microphone at Staples Center in Los Angeles. He was laughing throughout the segment, but the slur received attention on social media.

Sports Illustrated published a censored version of the exchange:

“The inappropriate language used by a guest during the ‘Miz TV’ segment was not scripted nor reflects WWE’s values,” WWE said in a statement to The Los Angeles Times.

**** sake:joker:

First TV ladder match in 4 years approx. is tonight on SD (Late 2012 or maybe early 2013 had Punk vs Ryback in a TLC for the WWE Championship I recall, it was on TV because Punk had shoulder surgery)

Also the first MitB ladder match on TV and the first time Women have main evented both Raw and SD.

Still lame that they're redoing a whole MitB match but oh well :P

Jian Yang 29-06-2017 01:05 AM

Really good showing from both Raw and SD this week, makes a nice change.

Love Carmella

LaLaLand 29-06-2017 04:06 AM

Asuka vs. Nikki was insane! NXT finally feels back to it's previous standard women-wise.

Cross is slowly becoming my ultimate fav.

LaLaLand 30-06-2017 07:57 PM

4 more names confirmed for the Mae Young Classic:

- New Zealander Evie (now called Dakota Kai)
- Japanese Kairi Hojo (now Kairi Sane)
- NXT's Bianca BelAir
- Piper Niven, formerly Viper from Scotland.

I cannot wait for this, the names rolling out are awesome.

Can we just appreciate 3:15 please?

Novo 30-06-2017 11:33 PM

Carmella was actually the last draft pick and Alexa was #20, on Raw Braun was #28, crazy

Denver 01-07-2017 05:35 PM

rumours are The winner of the Mae Young Classic will receive a title belt which will become a secondary womens title for both brands

Denver 01-07-2017 05:35 PM

So a womens Intercontinental title?

BBfanUSA 01-07-2017 10:36 PM

If one brand has the secondary title I wonder if the other (likely the brand with more women or it can easily swap) brand will get a Tag Team championship belt?

LaLaLand 02-07-2017 12:48 AM

Not here for another belt tbh. Just crown them the winner with a trophy or whatev.

I'd rather that they sign a handful of them and then disperse them across the three brands (plus 205 Live even, why not) and fight for the corresponding titles already there.

BBfanUSA 02-07-2017 08:25 PM

Naomi has a custom LED lighting title at house shows now

Andrea (fka Rosie Lottalove in TNA) and Demi Bennett have been confirmed for the Mae Young Classic.

Andrea is now going under the name Sage Beckett and Demi is now Rhea Ripley.

Quote:

Just 20 years old and already sporting a resume full of in-ring accolades, Rhea Ripley is a wrestling prodigy. The hard-hitting Australian was a standout soccer player in her youth, making her uniquely prepared for a career of throwing hard kicks. In addition to having competed in her home country of Australia and Japan, Ripley is also a two-time Riot City Women’s Wrestling Champion.

Sage Beckett is as tough as they come. The in-ring veteran of 10 years not only trained under ECW Originals Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley at their Team 3-D Academy, but she has taken the hardcore philosophy to heart while revitalizing her squared-circle career. Beckett found considerable success competing in various promotions like WXW Elite and Shine before deciding to retire in 2012. Still yearning to do battle between the ropes and unleash pain on her opponents, she made her return in 2014, coming back 130 pounds lighter. Behind her new lean and mean appearance, Beckett is making the most of her second squared circle go-around that she hopes will crown her the inaugural Mae Young Classic winner.

The two women join previously announced competitors Kairi Sane, Tessa Blanchard, Abbey Laith, Taynara Conti, Jazzy Gabert, Kavita Devi, Toni Storm, Princesa Sugehit, Lacey Evans, Sarah Logan, Bianca BelAir, Piper Niven and Dakota Kai.
