it was never going to be her dance this one, but then again it isn't a shame to have a lesser score with argentine tango cause this dance is really difficult

last years Davood can agree on that for sure, who also had great ballroom performances, and i loved his james bond paso last year at blackpool :flutter:

but he got stitched up with the AT to phantom of the opera

Joe deserved his score. That quickstep was fantastic! Dance of the night for me. If anything, i would say have given him a 39.

Vanessa 18-11-2018 09:12 AM

I'm hoping for a couples choice for Joe and Diane. They could do theatre and jazz, so they could do some lindy hop/charleston in it.

Nicky91 18-11-2018 09:13 AM

Graeme's theatre, my dad said if he gets high scores i eat my socks oops

He was terrible and didn't deserve 32. Massively over marked.

Beastie 18-11-2018 09:24 AM

Any spoilers for who went yet?

Graeme is actually good:shrug: not the best but he is a good dancer. He deserves those high scores.

I think with Lauren it's a case of being the most likeable/rootable of the lesser known celebrities. I'd imagine that her, Kate and Graeme were the bottom 3 this week and of those Lauren is the one with the rootability factor. Her disability means she's has to put extra work in each week, and the constant heavy criticism from the judges just make sure her someone you want to vote for.

As we head into next week it'll just be her and Graeme left with the others who are either more well known, or have bigger fan bases. Joe has most of the British YouTube fan base voting, even if they don't watch him, Stacey has the surprise dancer, anti-trained dancer fanbase, Ashley has the 'im voting for the best dancer' fanbase, Faye has the STEPS fans and some of Ashley's best dancer fans, and Charles has the Casualty fans and most of the underdog supporters.

Lauren will probably leave next week with Graeme following, leaving the fan bases to battle it out.

Well said

Next week there's the lindy hoppathon. Should be interesting. Hoping Joe does a couples choice, theatre and jazz. So he can do some charleston/lindy hop in his routine.
I think it would be silly not play on his strengths in a couples choice.

yeah but still my favourite has come far for a beginner, in week 2, week 3 i never had expected her to get this far :flutter:

so pls i don't want anymore drama now, i will respect all your faves, if you pls respect my Lauren, i know she isn't a contender to win that glitterball, but AJ has gotten far with her, and we also saw his caring side a lot more now

I think Dianne said on The One Show a few weeks back that they were probably going to do Contemporary, but possibly Street.

Take That tonight in the results show :amazed: and a italian style group dance from the 50's era, with our pro dancers and celebs

Everyone was good last night tbf, even Lauren wasn’t too bad. And as much as I hate to admit it, Joe’s Quickstep was very good (not as good as Faye’s Paso, but very good all the same)

Daniel-X 18-11-2018 05:19 PM

Altho, I don’t know how Joe is a successful YouTuber as he is completely void of any sort of personality.

He's videos aren't that bad - but I think having Zoella as a sister and being an attractive young male probably boosted him.

He does have a personality, he's just a bit shy. He's cute too and a terrific dancer.

Morgan. 19-11-2018 12:02 AM

Tbf I have no idea what a Lindy hop is

Nicky91 19-11-2018 07:35 AM

in the dance off i would've saved Kate & Aljaz, for it more being a dance rather than Graeme's performance which i found too pedestrian and he wasn't in sync in the DO performance few times

Cal. 19-11-2018 09:00 AM

I’m glad Graeme and Oti survived.

I have been watching this series with my mam but never pitch in any thoughts/opinions on here!

he also likes AJ now this year, while he had disliked him last year
