I also think that any hero worship of these public figures, elected or not, is simply ill-advised. I do not want my politicians to tell me how their heart is functioning... I don't know why people posting the comparisons even bother though, it's quite clear at this point that the people bleating nonsense about "Roman salutes", "throwing his heart out to everyone" (dumbest excuse there's been), "accident" etc all know exactly what he did, it's just a bit of amateur dramatics pretending otherwise. They don't need to see and realise what it was, they know. Some are too far down the pipeline to not make excuses/too busy trolling to care about the actual politics... And some just straight up like that he did it.

History is important, it's really just that enough time has passed to consider it history rather than active politics, and Trump can pretend he's unveiling a cover up (rather than it being normal for there to be a delay of several decades before the full story behind things like this come out, for security reasons).
