Joe is my favourite, because he's the only one who makes me excited when he dances. Of the others, i like Charles latin but not his ballroom.
Stacey is a good all rounder.
Sorry to say this, but when Ashley and Faye dance, i feel nothing. They're technically brilliant, but they don't connect with me.
Lauren, i really like her as a person, dancing wise i like her ballroom.
I really don't like Graham, for me he lacks the finesse and elegance that both Joe and Charles have.

Vanessa 19-11-2018 05:31 PM

Alyiaz leaving the competition :bawling:

Vanessa 19-11-2018 05:57 PM

Charles has the tango.

Nicky91 20-11-2018 07:22 AM

Lauren tries the best she can in the latin, and i also think she's stunning in the ballroom dances

Charles tango time oh no, back to a in hold dance, he hasn't been good at that so far and all what he has left are serious in hold dances :hehe:

Nicky91 20-11-2018 07:30 AM

Lauren has the Salsa :cheer2: one dance she has done in the past, bit of recreational classes not exactly the strictly salsa more the traditional one without lifts

so i expect her to do well here, otherwise i will be terribly disappointed, and if she has a weak performance i will give her a low score last week i could defend her cause argentine tango was out of her comfort zone, but now salsa is within her comfort zone i have some expectations

I like the Salsa, ite fun. Hope she does well.
I think Joe has couples choice surely? He hasn't done it yet. I would like either theatre and jazz or commercial/Street.
But i think Joe could do an amazing Argentine tango.

would they do a argentine tango battle Faye vs Joe then

Salsa suits her personality more than an argentine tango, she's more of a happy person than an angry too serious one

Lauren could go home this or next week but i don't care about that anymore, i just want her to have fun now

Nah, i think Joe has couples choice. Should be exciting!

Nicky91 20-11-2018 07:57 AM

Graeme is the weakest (i wish judges won't overmark him anymore :notimpressed: )

Vanessa 20-11-2018 07:58 AM

Yes. Let's just enjoy our favourite couples for as long as they're there. Most of them have to leave at some point anyway. Won't be easy reaching the final with three people who have dancing experience.
Ashley, Faye and Charles have all danced before.

I think he's terrible. He has no elegance or finesse. Charles and Joe are both better dancers than him.

Charles is so smug either, he is well paired with Karen also funny how this year she had her first high scores, you can see what other duffers she was put up with each year :laugh2: Nicky Byrne the ringer that never was for example

and agreed Nessa, i am happy that Lauren has a fun dance, i still stay with that, if you're going out better to go on a fun dance rather than something boring as a rumba for example

i am proud of Lauren having made it to week 10, which is great for a beginner and i'm sure she'll continue to just love dancing also it isn't easy for her cause now she also has preparation for another few upcoming paratriathlons beginning next year which she is a top contender at, so respect for her commitment to strictly despite this packed schedule :clap1:

my dad's favourite last year was Davood & Nadiya, and i also felt gutted for them they went out on argentine tango at musicals week

he's so pedestrian :fan: even an Ed Balls had more finesse and at least tried to give his all into every dance, Graeme just goes for the acting, selling a performance bit

Crimson Dynamo 20-11-2018 08:10 AM

lets face it, they have bee ntrying to get rid of Graham for weeks and this week they will succeed

Ed Balls started off as a joke, but then towards the end he actually became really good. Loved his The Mask dance.

He's always over marked. At least Joe is actually good. Graham is terrible.

joeysteele 20-11-2018 08:31 AM

I think Graeme looks better because Oti is keeping to run of the mill very safe routines.
I'm astounded how he is saved by the Judges time and time again.

Joe, Lauren and the others, in the main do get far more challenging routines to deal with.

I've always felt Ashley will win this series, no doubt too Pasha creates great routines and is an amazing dancer.

I rate AJ as the best at creating strong, entertaining and demanding routines, which he rarely gets credit for.

However, I now feel due to continuous improvement and the public really coming to like him overall a lot, that Joe could be carried to a deserved win now.

If anything they've been trying to keep him in. It's Lauren they want to rig out.

I agree. Lauren deserved a higher score last week. It wasn't perfect, but it was much better than Graham
How the hell did Graham get a 32? His dance wasn't that good

certainly the women judges dislike her

Joe gets constantly over marked by Shirley and Bruno

if it is just a dancing contest then Ashley and Faye will be top 2

if its just cat lady popularity the Stacey or Joe

Joe keeps surprising me. I even think that he could do a decent rumba. An understated one, a bit like Jay and Aliona one.

Vanessa 20-11-2018 08:49 AM

I'm still watching Joe quickstep back. Ah, he was amazing! Everything about that routine was pure class. Diane is a great choreographer.

joeysteele 20-11-2018 08:54 AM

ItI've said it many times and I thought it last year too.
I really think most of the judges don't care for A J Pritchard more than his partners.
Particularly Darcey, who now I can't stand, even her voice is grating on me.
Also too though the supposed but poor replacement head judge for Len, Shirley Ballas.

It's actually only the judges who spoil Strictly now for me.

yeah but AJ really loves strictly, and also nice how supportive he is to his celeb partners

agreed, we need better unbiased judges, maybe someone like Michael Flatley

I'm warming to Shirley this year. But maybe it's just because she seems to love Joe :hehe:
