Hot tube time machine

Was okay, had a few good lines in it, but apart from that nothing special.

A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010). Another stale and unimaginative horror remake from a production company who've built a solid reputation for themselves as a team of professionals committed to churning out hallow, disposable remakes of older classics, with absolutely none of the style of the originals. This was mind blowingly awful, and one has to feel sorry for Jackie Earle Haley who deserved far much more than this tired old piece of rubbish.

Rachel Getting Married

It was good,I love anything Anne Hathaway does.

DrunkerThanMoses 12-05-2010 12:21 PM

Shadowlands. I've always loved this intimately crafted little film which explores the life altering relationship that C.S Lewis embarks upon (a never better Anthony Hopkins) with an American lady, a relationship that changes the very fabric of his existence. It's just such a wonderful film, and very affecting.

Boys dont cry, a very intresting and moving film. The acting was great, I can see why swank won an oscar for it. Cant believe its based on a true story, which makes it more moving.

Reservoir Dogs.

Now I just don't know which QT movie is my favourite.

Shaun 14-05-2010 02:46 AM

Waltz With Bashir. Rather good stuff.

Niamh. 14-05-2010 09:33 AM

Levity with Billy Bob Thornton and Morgan Freeman, it was good, a bit bleak but good

Oh I was going to watch that next week!

DrunkerThanMoses 14-05-2010 09:40 AM

King Kong 1933, was okay, a tad boring for my liking, but the special effects was good for that time.

Do they? I don't get to watch them much so they're all new to me! There was one on the other night with Demi Moore, Half Light it was called, it looked good but it started too late

Shaun 15-05-2010 02:29 AM

Blow.

I don't know where to put it. Like, it seems to be sympathising with a drug dealer...it's complicated. Good acting, soundtrack, drama, etc. But the message confuses me. Which is a good thing I guess?

The message is if you're a sap, you're gonna get screwed, as he did all the way though the film.
