Trying to get a copy of that Game was nigh on impossible in Tamworth. |

I wonder if other retailers refused to stock the game, even though legal, just, on appeal?!! I went through so many PS2 games on ebay, ones i own, to see what they're worth, and most are worth a few quid max, and one of the last ones i checked was Manhunt 2, i was over the moon to see it was worth a nice few quid. It's probably worth as much as all the other games i have put together :joker: The Warriors looks like it could get £15, as mine is in like new condition. But other than that, yeah, Manhunt 2 is my little Diamond in the rough  |

And yeah I'm gathering that Manhunt 2 would have a more limited appeal, so sadly shops were less inclined to have loads in stock. |

Yeah retailers were probably worried of any backlash too. I mean i remember the controversy with the first one, but not the second. It was an interesting wiki read. |

Was the first Manhunt really controversial as well then? |
Quote:
Yeah, the Mail were all over it, trying to get it banned. News at 10 featured it etc..Was the first mainstream game of it's kind. |

Personally speaking I never get these people that want to censor entertainment products (or outright ban products) just because they don't like them. I mean I get you've got to have some basic limits, like Live Action Shows can't go around showing out and out Paedo content because of it being CP, but things like violence in Video Games is just not something that anyone should try to ban imo, in some Games it can actually enhance their quality imo. What's your thoughts on it all? |

Society as a whole is extremely sensitive, Manhunt, nor Manhunt 2 would ever be made nowadays. Maybe some unknown indie company would make PC games of the like. But mainstream companies, no way on earth. But yeah, hate censorship and cancellation. They even censor shows like Malcolm in the Middle here now on All 4. John Candy does a impression of a Jamaican whilst drinking Rum in Planes, Trains and Automobiles, that 5 seconds was edited out of the showing of that film over Christmas on C5. It's so pathetic lol. |
Quote:
And I also agree with you about the Manhunt franchise, it would have to be an Indie company that's willing to have a controversial reputation that would take it on these days. And Malcolm In The Middle gets censored over a joke? It's almost like it's being a Comedy. |
Oh and I've been playing Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath Of Cortex again.
It's such a blast from the past. |

I need to find the control for the TV though, i wonder, would any universal control work?? The descriptions on ebay don't make it clear it'll work on an old CRT TV. |
I don’t do games.

Imo a severely underrated Crash Bandicoot Game. According to Universalremotehelp.com (apologies for the advertisement Mods) apparently a universal control will work on a CRT TV. |
Just ordered Hogwarts, Never read a word of the books or seen a second of the films, beyond the memes.

Manhunt is a good game. One of my favourites, luckily enough I bought it on PlayStation store on my PS3, they had ps1 & ps2 classics you could buy and oddly enough Manhunt was one of the games that was on there.
Wrath of Cortex isn’t bad but I still think it lacked behind the naughty dog games. I remember really hating the Atlasphere levels. |

It's probably 50-50 with Japanese Anime imo. |
