The Human Centipede :bawling:

Tales of Earthsea, the weakest Ghibli film by a mile but it was still okay I guess apart from a very flawed plot.

Beastie 15-05-2010 04:06 PM

Loser.

Lol was a good film.. eventhough it has quite a simple narrative to it. Had a good soundtrack though. I was like yay!! when Scarbrough Fair by Simon and Garfunkel came on :D

The Crazies, wasn't too bad ,not sure if I would watch it again though.

Watched Gran Torino last night after having it recommended to me by several people. Wow what a thought provoking film, without being too worthy, and Clint Eastwood is fantastic. Terrific ending.

The Last Song

meh it was alright. Miley wasn't up to much in it but it's a nice, if unoriginal story.

GypsyGoth 15-05-2010 08:15 PM

Robin Hood, I was disappointed.

Lewis. 15-05-2010 10:16 PM

A film with Kevin Bacon in it -

Stir of Echo's.. Better than Sixth sense if I say so myself - 9/10.

setanta 15-05-2010 10:34 PM

I watched The Firm(1993) just for the craic again, since I'm a fan of crime and legal novels. Yeah, I enjoyed it even though I'm sure it might be a little drawn out for some.

The Hangover :D Epic!

Smithy 15-05-2010 11:13 PM

The Japanese original was a confusing mess, the remake actually made a bit of sense but was only so so and the sequel's downright awful.

It's an interesting idea but terrible execution.

Yeah, I steered clear of the original too, although I was impressed with how Hollywood tried their hand at the Ring. it wasn't terrible!

I liked the Ring. The sequels were'nt that bad either I suppose.

Anvil - The Story of Anvil. It's a documentary about a heavy-metal group who enjoyed success in the early eighties but nothing much since. However the two main guys in the band are eternal optimists and are still trying to 'make it'. This film is like a spoof like This is Spinal Tap expect it is real.

One of my fav films of the decade. Did you enjoy it?

James 16-05-2010 12:24 AM

Yeah, I'm not a fan of heavy-metal but there's lots of unintentionally funny moments in it. The main characters are great too. Very good.

setanta 16-05-2010 12:29 AM

It's my second fav documentary of the decade, my first being Grizzly Man.

setanta 16-05-2010 12:29 AM

No sorry, my third. Dig! is my second.

KG. 16-05-2010 12:35 AM

REC - 9/10

Third time I've seen it, sick horror film, must see for an horror fans, although if you're not a fan of subtitles, then it might be hard to get into, but DON'T go and watch Quarantine thinking it will be the better option, whatever you do.

Mystic Mock 16-05-2010 12:36 AM
