Talk Football

I don't see why eduardo's dive is so different to one of Ronaldo's 30 dives..

30stone 27-08-2009 12:54 PM

Dont understand why the Eduardo thing is being talked about so much and people want him banned, should every dive mean your banned?

yeah, dives should be a ban-able offence (3 games out)

30stone 27-08-2009 01:15 PM

Yeah but, it woudl be so hard to challenege every dive.

Because people always dive outside the box to...

Its so stupid, and someone can be questionable sometimes even if they look like dives...

I think it would be to hard to judge ...

King Gizzard 27-08-2009 01:15 PM

welll hopefully this dive will bring all dives into scrutiny

Warnock having medical at Aston Villa

King Gizzard 27-08-2009 01:18 PM

MON aparently only wants one more player. ****ing one!?! we need more like 3 or 4 or were ****ed like last season

30stone 27-08-2009 01:19 PM

I feel sorry for Eduardo though, Ive never ever seen him dive before and he is getting this much greif over 1 dive.

But the people who dive all over the pitch not just in the box done get anything.

And some do dive in the box and get penalties often..

King Gizzard 27-08-2009 01:23 PM

yeah but can only be a good thing cause now they ll have to have the same treatment for every player

but I thought over all whereever ive looked people were saying Eduardo was clever, especially Gullit and Eriksson on sky sports last night, which is not on

30stone 27-08-2009 01:42 PM

It is clever.

But it shouldnt be done.

Sky sports and people they done interviews with were destroying him.. saying how he shoul get match ban and everything..

alc09 27-08-2009 01:48 PM

Eduardo's dive was no worse than Hibberts for Everton against Burnley.

Scottish football really is ****ing shite, its a laughing stock.

30stone 27-08-2009 02:02 PM

Ahmen.

and lets not forget...

There you go some of the best premiership players..
Yet none of them were brought up about it and people saying they should get a match ban..

30stone 27-08-2009 02:21 PM

I feel sorry for any team that draws barca in the group stage.

Henry.
Messi.
Ibrahimovic.

upfront..

They are going to dominate.

CAIRO: English football club Sunderland is looking to bolster their side by adding Egyptian international winger Ahmed al-Muhammadi as manager Steve Bruce continues his efforts to rebuild the club, which was relagated to the Championship division. Muhammadi has been dubbed the ‘Egyptian Beckham” for his swift movement on the sides and his curling passes.

The Egyptian winger as been dubbed the 'Egyptian Beckham'
The 22-year-old would be Sunderland’s sixth major summer signing if they manage to put in place a a loan deal with Egypt’s ENNPI Cairo before the transfer window closes next week.

Egyptian football fans are hopeful the move with propel the young winger into a position to compete on a larger stage.

“He didn’t play well in South Africa this summer and while we see his potential, he needs help,” began Sherif, an avid football viewer who watches all Egypt’s matches, “because he isn’t to the quality that will make him dominate on the field.”

Bruce believes his strike force is complete, after signing Fraizer Campbell and Darren Bent to play alongside Kenwyne Jones, but has said he would like more numbers in midfield after selling Dean Whitehead to Stoke for £3million.

Midfield duo Lee Cattermole and Lorik Cana have arrived on Wearside already this summer, but Bruce is keen to strengthen his options on the flanks and appears to have turned his attentions to Muhammadi.

“It could happen. We will have to wait and see. That would be a loan deal as well,” Bruce told the Sunderland Echo, after watching his club pummel Norwich City 4-1 in the Carling Cup on Monday night.

Muhammadi, one of the rising stars in African football, has been close to a move to the Premier League before after a trial at Blackburn in October last year.

Despite impressing during this period the move failed to materialise after Paul Ince left the Lancashire club weeks later.

Rapper Tinchy Stryder has admitted he’s a Rangers fan because he loves Barry Ferguson.

The football loving star told the Sun: “I’m a Rangers man because I was a huge fan of Barry Ferguson. It was a shame that he’s left for Birmingham.”

Tinchy revealed his Scottish football love at the MOBO Awards launch at London’s Mayfair hotel.

Although Tinchy’s album Catch was beaten to the top spot in the charts by Scots dance maestro Calvin Harris, he’s still delighted with his success telling the Sun: “Obviously we’re all competing to get to the top but I’m more than happy with what I got.”

Yesterday brought even more good news for the rapper as he was nominated for 3 MOBO awards including Best Album, Best UK Act and Best Song for Number One, his hugely popular track with N-Dubz.

Tinchy with a host of other stars, including a rumoured appearance by Beyonce, will head to Glasgow’s SECC on September 30 for the glittering MOBO Awards show.

Lauren 27-08-2009 03:21 PM

Great news for Villa, two good players!!

Marc 27-08-2009 03:23 PM

Any news on Pavlyuchenko? Not really been following transfers

King Gizzard 27-08-2009 03:25 PM

Everyone slates Richard dunne for being fat and slow, but if you look at him play he actually is deceingly quick and on my FM his pace is 15 out of 20. Leadership qualities, will be an alright replacement for Laursen

Thats our defence just about covered.

Hopefully we ll get in Steven Defour or VDV now, but Ive got a bad feeling it will be jenas

Lauren 27-08-2009 03:26 PM

I thought VDV was going to Arsenal?

King Gizzard 27-08-2009 03:28 PM
