I didn't mind the open discussion FTC, though largely only because it gave certain jury members more time to shine and meant that we didn't have to sit through another of Zeke's patronising jury speeches (after all, agreeing with Jeff Probst on anything is a likely sign of the apocalypse, so I won't sing its praises too much)

Other than that? It's nice to see that Brad turned up to the reunion cosplaying as Darryl Whitefeather. There. That's my final thought for Survivor: Game Changers. Insightful, I know.

Oh well, Monotone wins then. Congrats to her, i guess. It could be seen before the vote that most of the jury was on her side. And the edit of Brad being overly arrogant and sure of himself spoiled that he was going to end up losing. Troyzan edit or there lack off was a clear sign that he would be in third place.

Don't get too used to that. That's actually not normally the case with Survivor but this season just happened to have a bunch of great tribal councils.

Apparently Sarah convinced Brad to give her his wedding ring so she could emotionally blackmail him into staying loyal :joker: Shame the edit made her so dull, but Probst doesn't like female winners if they show any trace of personality

I actually quite like this new jury/ftc format. It does kinda act as a proclomation that all winners need to be well-rounded, but also puts two fingers up to past winners that Jeff and co obviously think are undeserving...which is a bit ****ty.

In retrospect this season had so much potential. Troyzan and Brad were two people I really didn't want to see play again, so of course the two bores made it to the end. I said at the beginning of the season I liked sarah but would only want to see her return if the rest of the cast was stronger (I.e not Sierra and Andrea making it that far in) and I'm sticking to that

I mean, yeah, I'd like the idea a lot, lot more if it weren't such a blatant attempt to somehow retroactively prevent Michele from winning

Actually, I think I've lost count of the new rules/twists etc that the show's introduced because of Michele. Why she wasn't a Game Changer I haven't a clue <3

It's also basically the same exact thing as far as the format goes just not individual questions from everyone. However, the goat (Troyzan) got ignored just like the goat would with the other format.

Probst pretty much said after Kaoh Rong that he wanted to change how the jury/FTC worked because of bitter juries, so I think that particular result would factor into it somewhere... because otherwise, why switch things up now? Oh, right, they're all massive game changers...

Preventing a Michele win is a good thing.

Tbf, I still can't envision Michele/Sophie/whoever not winning under this new format. I can see the idea and how they want to implicate but I don't think it reduces bitter jury members indefinitely.

I liked the way that the new way of doing FTC too. People like Zeke, Ozzy and Debbie were annoying but they would've been annoying under the old format too. I do find it funny they only introduced it because Jeff is still pressed over Michele winning when I'm pretty sure Michele would've won under the new format anyway :joker:

Imagine thinking Michele didn't deserve to win in 2017.

I love how Brad was so over Jeff trying to make his point with the hypothetical Brad/Tai/Troyzan f3 :joker: I hate those hypothetical situations that he can't resist from doing at reunions.
