Johnson kept saying in Parliament
Plan B to end on the 26th of Jan.

But he said before in Downing St.
depending on the numbers of infections.

my definite choice is a no

also told my mom

i am not scared of omicron, i actually like what i hear about omicron, if you get this variant, and recover you grow good defence against delta variant for example

and vaccine only works for 10 weeks :joker:

i am not a complete anti-vaxxer though, if there was a more dangerous variant, or entire more dangerous virus i would get vaxxed

Nicky91 06-01-2022 08:57 AM

but Bots, i am not against lockdown measures, any of the other covid measures

early 2020 we didn't have a vaccine, but numbers did go down with the right covid measures, wearing of masks compulsory, keeping our distances

this all changed into ''vaccination obsession'' relying on vaccines way too much

Africa for example, haven't got vaccines, but most african people have natural antibodies, from having recovered from the virus which are facts

now with Omicron i don't think we should ''fear'' this variant, as it takes root in the throat, and doesn't do damage to the lungs or anything more important to the body, throatache is very annoying i know, i have had that many times even without this virus but you got decent antiflu candies for that to make your throat more comfortable, idk if you guys in UK also have something like these we have in my nation

no i'm not

my parents aren't going for their booster jab either btw, they find it pointless to do since these jabs only work for 10 weeks

and my mom reassured me it is always my own choice and my own choice is no, has always been no

like i said if there was a more dangerous variant, things would look different i guess but i am not afraid of omicron and i am kinda hoping this one will be the dominant variant and that this one will save us all

Maybe he got the figure from today’s Independent .. dated 6 hours ago

Nearly 195,000 people – a near-record – tested positive for coronavirus in the latest 24 hour recording period, continuing the sharp upward trend since the emergence of the Omicron variant.

Isn’t that a huge jump up in hospitalisations - it was about 14,000 on catch-up Tuesday ( after the usual lower figures of Sat / Sun / Mon )

Who says that the new variant is just like a bad cold !!
