We won't accept it anyway, we don't want him to go out on loan. If it was all up front we probably would (although hopefully we can get at least £20m).

I can't see Lpool getting many better offers, though. He was poor last season and definitely not worth what you paid for him. Although I hope it doesn't happen, like I said earlier West Ham have a good set of strikers already and buying AC would be a waste of money.

He came good towards the end of last season and was actually our most reliable player, which is the reason why it makes absolutely no sense to sell him, he deserves the chance to prove himself at fitting into BR's system.

He wasn't worth £35m no, but we had to do something after Torres ****ed us over a day before the window closed, and we had other offers rejected that day (Mario Gomez was one, can't remember the others). And Carroll is much better than Carlton Cole (who is the only similar striker West Ham have to him, I think).
