Tom I think you have to pass the orb, picking it up when you've already got it counts as a fail (I think) :worry:

Yes just to confirm you cannot keep picking it up as it clearly states that you cannot hold it for longer than 1 hour. It is okay to pass to someone, and if that person does not pick up within an hour you are allowed to pick it up again.

Not last night because DTM passed it to Reece, but Reece failed to pass it so DTM took it again. You didn't say you took it but just passed it on meaning you never had it. The first time you've had it was this morning.

Do we have any sort of running total Riley? Just wondering how many points we're all on. Also how do the fails work exactly? Since we're being scored on time with the orb, does one fail count like minus an hour or something?

So you don't get scored on points only fails. You only receive a fail if you do not pass the orb on within the hour that you were given it and if you hold onto the orb without passing it on.

Ahh i see! I misunderstood it lol. So really then we don't want to be passing it to people in our own team at all, we want to pass it to the other team and hope they incur a fail

I thought Riley clarified earlier that it was just fails that counted rather than time spent holding holding the orb like we thought initially...

...so basically if you have the orb, you want to pass it someone you think is offline so they'll incur a fail, whereas passing it between each other or holding onto it for an hour doesn't make a difference? (unless I'm wrong)
