Last House on the left the orignal. Was okay but had a few problems to it with editing and all. Had some funny parts and a few shocks. Overall i think it is just as good as the remake.

Rise Of The Foot Soldier. Pretty brutal but a very good film.

Garage. Very bleak and poignant look at rural life in Ireland, with an outstanding lead performance from Pat Shortt.

The Ghost (aka The Ghost Writer).

It was okay I suppose, not Polanski's best work. I haven't read the novel, but imagine it works better as a book than a film.

PS - free Polanski!!

I can't find it online! Read the book and dying to see what they've done with the film.

What would a milkman be doing knowing Karate? Classic stuff.

setanta 19-05-2010 08:44 PM

That's for John Lennon, ya f£cking yankie prick. Doesn't say that?

Watching Sherlock Holmes again on Dvd. It's just silly fun, and Downey Jnr is great in the part.

Yes it was a good slasher film, better then most. However I knew who the killer was from the start.

Forgot who the killer was. Will have to watch it again! Was funny when the house party looked like a big orgy fest!!!!!!

Legion. It was ok but it ended without explaining certain things.

Max Payne

Amazing Movie.

So much relates to the games, i thought they were going to take a different route with the story. wasn't really sure about Mark Wahlberg playing Max payne after watching the movie though i felt he did the Role justice.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

idk, I kinda felt it's a little overrated. The constant chopping of timelines or whatever you want to call them began to irk me and I felt no sense of closure at the end. Having said that I liked Jim Carey more than I have ever before and Elijah, Kate and Kirsten also played great parts. I loved Clementine's character, I saw a tiny piece of myself in her.

The Back Up Plan :)

The Wolfman. Unintentionally hilarious and extremely dumb, but I have to say I enjoyed it for what it was, and Hopkins was chewing up the scenery.

Just so funny! I mean, what were they thinking? They hadn't go a clue what they were making really. Must watch it stoned some time.

Ed Wood with Johnny Depp - brilliant, hilarious film and even more astounding it's a true story about the world's worst film director. Terrific performance from Martin Landau as Bela Lugosi. It's all filmed in black & white which makes it so much more authentic, with Sarah Jessica Parker and Patricia Arquette. Enjoyed it so much on rental that I've now bought it.

Streetdance 3D

The dance moves were amazing but it's not really a film I'd watch again in a hurry.

Iceman, a different and intresting movie. Some sad moments but it was a great film. The acting was great as well.

Niamh. 26-05-2010 10:22 AM

Flatliners hadn't seen it in years but it's just as good as I remember

BOOSH 26-05-2010 11:26 AM

I watched Hot Tub Time Machine in the cinema last night - was actually a lot more funny than i thought it would be. everyone kept saying the trailer shows the only funny parts but they're wrong. And, I LOVE the 80s :D
