watch the lake effect snow radar sequence here (amazing): https://weather.com/storms/winter/ne...torm-christmas

A lake-effect snowband dumped over 4 feet of snow in Erie, Pennsylvania, in just over one day's time.

This shattered the city's calendar-day snowfall record, on Christmas Day, no less.

Continuing into Tuesday, this also clobbered the previous state record two-day snowfall.

Erie picked up more snow in 30 hours than their previous 13-day snowfall record.

Officials declared a snow emergency for the city.

Incorrect LT it was -10C

and smallest boy had no gloves or hat on as it

1. would ruin his hair

2. its not that cold

3. he was going to play football before the bell

:rolleyes:

Crimson Dynamo 15-01-2018 11:38 AM

@Scotland

Snow from around 1700z sleety and sporadic to start but setting in after midnight and all day tomoz

should cause a headache or 2. The TL is driving to the airport at 0500z and then back at 2300z so that is not good at all

:worry:

There's like 10 ****ing inches of snow here and the school is still on but the car is snowed in so I have to walk like 20 mins through the snow. Bye world, might not make it.
