Friday's Tasks

FIRST TASK - PART ONE

Your Uncle Johnny is getting married and your task is to find the most classy and elegant clothes and shoes for his big day. You must use the internet, and can buy new or second hand, but he must look smart in them. The problem is - you have a budget of only £300.00 and ALL the items on the list below MUST be bought.

1) Suit.
2) Shirt.
3) Tie.
4) Shoes.
5) Socks.
6) Underpants.

The Contestant whose clothes are deemed the most elegant and smart will win the maximum of 10 points for coming first.
The Second best wins 8 points.
The Third best wins 6 points.

The Winner will be exempt from Friday's eviction and all points scored by the first three are added to the scores for the second part of the task.

FIRST TASK - PART TWO

Here are a list of 5 characters and 5 quotes. The quotes have been mixed up and all you have to do is match the quote to the character who you believe REALLY said it.

These characters AND the quotes are ficticious because if we used real characters and quotes you could simply google the answers.

There are no real clues as some character names could fit several of the quotes, so it's a game of intuition to see which of you are 'on the same wavelength as me' as much as anything.

I have proofed my answers to Will so that all is above board.

The winner will be the contestant who has correctly matched the most quotes to characters.

The winner scores 10 points
The second best scores 8 points
The third best scores 6 points

Again, the Winner will be exempt from Friday's eviction and all points scored by the first three are added to the scores for the First part of the task.

Independant of the Winners of Part One and Two of the task, the contestant with the highest total of points from both tasks will also be safe from eviction.

Those NOT among the three winners WILL be up for eviction.

Any questions please ask on here.

Quote 3. :

"When I was on active serviced in the Army, I was responsible for a Tibbie being killed in action by 'friendly fire', because I told all my lads to 'Fire at Will."

Billy Boner.

Quote 4.:

"I lost my job when I scalded a patient's penis, but it wasn't my fault. I didn't hear the doctor correctly when he said "Prick his boil"

Quote 5. :

Ah, that's fine! Livia is such a nice person. It's a shame she couldn't play but I was warned about it when signing her up.

Thanks Ammi

Hope all is well with Livia. x

I donated the rest to a charity for blind children. Which if you really knew Kirky like you claim to do then you would know that he is heavily involved in this wonderful charity.:smug:

No Jamie - I especially pm'd you the task because you said you might not be on tonight so I wanted you to have plenty of time to enter so you were not unfairly penalised -- I'm nice like that.

I'm not going to have chance to do part one though I'm afraid :worry:

Morgan. 05-02-2016 04:50 PM

For the suit, I have chosen one that was originally expensive, however now it has been reduced and I view it as a really good offer. The clean teal material will really compliment his features. The trousers are included.

£69

https://www.suitdirect.co.uk/p-limeh...it_jacket-4201

The shirt is one from ASOS, and I think just a plain, simple white shirt will make the suit look a whole ton better.

£17

http://www.asos.com/ASOS/ASOS-Smart-...097&gridsize=3

The tie I have chosen fits perfectly with the suit, a blue and black patterned tie is just perfect and really stands out with the outfit.

£19

https://www.thetiebar.com/product/30507sk

The shoes are cheap, shiny and stylish; they fit perfectly for the outfit and are made especially for weddings.

£25.99

https://www.megafootwear.co.uk/produ...ant=1118266321

The socks are just plain 'n' simple black, they don't need to me too special!

£2.50

http://www.clothingattesco.com/invt/...g&gclsrc=aw.ds

The underpants top it all off! They're plain and simple but provide their service as usual!

£25

£158.49
