Oh, they signed already? Didn't realize that.

yeah I forgot that does tend to happen.

Brother Leon 09-05-2014 10:12 PM

Lebron going back to play in Cleveland and part with Johnny

BBfanUSA 09-05-2014 10:13 PM

Minnsota bought the last pick from Seattle?

Good choice too.

Sorta but good thing about the NFL is that a terrible team one year could be a SB winning one within the next 5 or so seasons, so much easier to progress that a lot of the early picks will just love being a part of that

Texans have only been around about a decade but before this season they topped the AFC South two years running and got to the Divisionals both times

Drew. 09-05-2014 11:29 PM

Oakland have just drafted a QB so why didn't they get Manziel yesterday if they are after a QB?

MTVN 09-05-2014 11:35 PM

More pressing needs I guess, they've got Schaub at QB this season and they'll probably hoping he can do a decent job for the time being while they try and sort out all the other holes in their roster. They might bring in this new QB at some point in the season but they'd never consider throwing him in too early like some of the highest picked QBs in the draft are sometimes expected to do

Drew. 09-05-2014 11:38 PM

Ah that makes sense.. saw quite a few people saying Carr was a good draft for the Raiders but will probably sit out the first year so that explains it.

Brother Leon 10-05-2014 12:00 AM

The NBA one is so much easier to follow. Only 2 rounds, 30 picks each round and you get to know about 70% of them. I find my self Googling pretty much all these people and there are too many rounds to truly be on top of it all

BBfanUSA 10-05-2014 10:58 PM

Openly Gay Player Micheal Sam has been drafted finally. Pick #249, by the St. Louis Rams.

He was this past year's SEC Defensive Player of the Year (SEC in College Football is La Liga to most of Europe for those that don't know) so I'm surprised he was on the board for that long.

MTVN 10-05-2014 11:05 PM

Our draft seems fairly good, only had 6 picks in the end but filled all our holes with players who can hopefully do a job straight away. We're sorta constrained by the fact our team is built is around Peyton and he probs only has 2 years left, maybe 3, so we need a more immediate impact

Not sure what we got for the picks we traded but hopefully it was useful

Drew. 10-05-2014 11:15 PM

Sounds like Oakland had a good draft, Was always drawn to them when i first started watching NFL because of their colours and fans but their team were known to be pretty bad. Getting a connection with a club is stressful business, will never be able to decide.

BBfanUSA 11-05-2014 03:40 AM

By the way, anyone that wasn't drafted are undrafted free agents.

Usuallly a bunch of people are signed this way.

yeah I know insane.

Draft is just there to promote Parity

alex_front2 11-05-2014 11:08 AM

Congrats to Michael Sam on draft pick.

BBfanUSA 13-05-2014 01:19 PM

Regarding Rookie jersey sales,

#1 is Johnny Manziel. #2 is Micheal Sam, 3 is Jadevon Clowney, 4 is Bridgewater, 5 is Brett Bortles

Drew. 13-05-2014 01:20 PM

A jersey with HaHa on the back would be my number one pick

MTVN 13-05-2014 02:11 PM

Silly everyone buying up Sam jerseys, at best he'll probably just play mainly special teams, at worst he might not even make the Rams roster

Drew. 13-05-2014 03:50 PM

I have been reading about NFL on websites and forums for ages now, Still haven't connected with a team fully, getting more and more drawn towards the Packers since the draft the more i read about them and watch videos of them though. But then the 49ers have Kaepernick & Smith who i like, history and decent colours but then Cleveland could be pretty good fun to follow now they've got Manziel.. Do i go for the cheese lovers, Kaepernick or Manziel

MTVN 13-05-2014 05:20 PM

Suppose trouble with the Browns is there's no knowing how Manziel will do when the last two QBs the Browns drafted have flopped, and they've been pretty terrible for a long time now
