I miss when EE (and the other soaps) used to actually spend money on ads rather than just have a montage of clips with a *dramatic instrumental* in the background.

Tbh, they still do them occasionally.

The last one was for the Lucy story though in February 2015.

Oh yeah I forgot the Lucy ones, they were really good actually. But most of the time it's just a montage of clips with some cheesy tagline like 'Everyone has a skeleton in their closest - EastEnders all this week on BBC One.'
