I've never been a huge fan.. I just don't like any of his films. (oh exclude Top Gun from that)
Vanilla Sky has to be by far the biggest lot of sh!t I have ever ever seen.. (as are The Mission Impossible films) <<may get slated for saying that but hey ho!
I feel the same way you do though about Pierce Brosnan and Keanu Reeves. Two of the most wooden actors/irritants around! I can't quite make up my mind who is more wooden though!

I am a die hard John Cusack fan, I would watch him sleeping! I even cheered for him in 2012! I liked Keanu in Bill and Ted tho. ;)

Who is John Connolly? What is name of book?

John Connolly is a kinda supernatural crime novel writer. I think his first few novels in that genre are great, and then he decided he needed a change of pace and wrote The Book of Lost Things. It's a great read. Well, I think so anyway.

Did you see his cameo in Tropic Thunder? Now you had to like that cuz he actually plays a total creep in it.

Strangely enough, I've never been a big fan of John Cusack either.. Don't dislike him or anything, just not overly keen. As far as acting talent goes, I don't think there is a modern day actor better than Daniel Day Lewis. And as far as hotness talent goes, there are prob too many to mention but I have to say Daniel Craig first.

I watched the beginning of Tropic Thunder but put it off as it became too noisy?! I have seen a clip of Tom Cruise dancing in it and it did look quite funny :)

Loads of people think he is actually Irish for some reason...

bansheewails 04-06-2010 11:21 AM

Daniel Day's father was born in Ireland, Cecil Day Lewis, he was the poet laureate for awhile i think

His father was Irish and he's always had a connection with the place. He actually doesn't live too far away from me and a couple of lads I know met him once while going out for a jog and there was wee Daniel jogging himself! Said he's a great fella.

The Box.

Dives straight into the story from the start, but gets a bit confusing in the middle, well, I couldnt make out what was going on. However the ending is really good and explains a lot what happens.

Lol.. I liked him in Cold Mountain and oh god whats the name of the film... christ! It's a gangster kind of film with a dad and a kid on the run. Tom Hanks is maybe in it? No maybe he's not... aaaargh, my brain is not functioning today!

setanta 04-06-2010 11:31 AM

Road to Perdition. Excellent flick, and the great Paul Newman was in it too.

bansheewails 04-06-2010 11:34 AM

Didn't watch Cold Mountain either, cause Gerbil cheeks is in that! I am a terrible person, if i dont like an actor in something, thats it they are on my banned list. Life is too short to subject my eyes to awfulnesss!

Harry! 04-06-2010 11:35 AM
