SIR John Madejski.

King Gizzard 27-08-2009 08:57 PM

I'm not too disheartened tbh.

We could do without europe anyway and its a shitty competition with too many games. I'd rather go out now then go out nearer the end. Saves all our fitness for domestic competions.

well done boys decent game but they wanted more and deserved it more. Fair play to there fans as well.

30stone 27-08-2009 09:06 PM

They sound like Arsenal :wavey:

- Robben is ready to sign for Bayern the 25 year old, will sign for £22million.

- AZ Alkmaar wont be a walkover as to what many fans think, AZ have only lost 1 game in 33 european games and are current Dutch champions above Ajax, PSV and FC Twente.

- Fulham in for goal machine Marc Janko (Scored 39 goals in 34 games)

The league which includes Rapid Vienna have teams that concede 50 goals in 36 games, but also can score 80 +

They'll quiver at the sight of Arsenal

King Gizzard 27-08-2009 09:28 PM

Bayern are already thinking of sacking their new boss after 3 games arent they? that van gaal bloke

Johann 27-08-2009 09:33 PM

Yeah, and they play Wolfsburg (champions) on saturday as well. :joker:

:xyxwave: Van Gaal

Although I have to say, having Robben and Ribery on the flanks is just mental.

King Gizzard 27-08-2009 09:40 PM

Bundesliga is a league on the up, so many decent teams. Still Robben shouldnt go there, should come back to the EPL or stay at madrid

30stone 27-08-2009 09:42 PM

Stuttgart and Wolfsburg will both do great this season.

Bayern will make up for it, still finish top 5..

King Gizzard 27-08-2009 09:49 PM

I predict a Barca vs Chelsea final in the CL this year

30stone 27-08-2009 10:08 PM

Same, i can see that being likely,

Unless, they meet in the semi final or quarter final...

Locke. 27-08-2009 11:06 PM

Liverpool vs Man Utd/Arsenal final this year it will be.

Brad. 27-08-2009 11:08 PM

it will be chelsea vs barca/arsenal

30stone 27-08-2009 11:11 PM

I am thinking with chelsea it could be one or the other, premiership or champions league.

I think and english team will win it this year if someone can knock barca out..

30stone 27-08-2009 11:14 PM

West Ham could be kicked out of the carling cup over the millwall vs west ham game lol.

andyman 28-08-2009 12:41 AM

On a football forum I go on theres some sick Celtic fans wishing Eduardo breaks his legs again and that someone breaks into his house and stabs them just because of the dive. Thats usually a well mannered and friendly forum but those comments are disgusting.

andyman 28-08-2009 01:24 AM

Well he did dive... Dirty vile cheating scum!

A Celtic fan says to Lauren "Look a dead bird!" Lauren looks up and says "Where?"

Swansea have completed the loan signing of Lee Trundle from Bristol City and are set to sign West Brom striker Craig Beattie on a three-year deal.

Former fans favourite Trundle, 32, returns to the club he left two years ago for Bristol City in a £1m deal, but failed to make his mark there.

Scotland international Beattie, 25, will become the club's most expensive player if he passes a medical.

"I can't wait to get back," said Trundle, who signed until 1 January.

Swansea have been desperate for strikers, not only to replace top scorer Jason Scotland who joined Wigan for £2m in the summer, but to cover for injuries to Stephen Dobbie and Guillem Bauza, and suspension to Gorka Pintado.

Trundle, nicknamed Magic Daps for his trickery, has struggled to make an impact in the Championship and Bristol City boss Gary Johnson is keen to offload him.

He scored seven goals in 58 league and cup appearances for the Robins in the last two seasons - most of those appearances coming from the bench - but has not featured this season.

Leeds United took Trundle on loan in January where he scored once in 10 league outings, and Swindon made a bid for him earlier this month.
