Are you calling me an arsehole? :bawling:

I do over-use the :joker: smiley, though.

No Jack - I was calling Claymores a clown/asshole and worried you'd mislaid the smileys to use on me.

Get Jack to tell you PM how he romanced Stephanie!

End of evening thought Patrick - find your girl's postal address, buy her a nice card for Valentines and write/send on it "you are so cute , P". Check with your female FM pals here if this sounds sensible or double check with setanta or niamxho if sounds too cheesy - I'm a male remember!!!!! and even tho I'm 44, women are a complete unknown/difficults still all our lives!!!!

On Monday at school without the lads around ask if she liked her card - you'll know where you stand then. Then go for it date in an evening if a positive or brush it off so neither parties upset/embarrassed if not going well

K?

The answer to does it sound cheesy Claymores is, It's cheesy If she doesn't fancy him and not cheesy if she does!

Guys need help,
Im sitting here with a Pen and a Card in front of me, and I need an idea of what to write to her.

Poems are abit cheesy and odd for our age, so does anyone have any ideas for me to write to her?

Simple and short - teen girls do the poems and stuff on cards to teen boys I seem to remember from my past.

"You are so cute, signed P"

That was my suggestion above, then ask her quietly on Monday if liked her card.

She knows im giving her one though, she doesnt seem like the type of girl who would really want to have a poem tbh sadly, that would of been the easy thing to write but now im stuck.

King Gizzard 12-02-2010 01:20 PM

It shouldnt matter what it says really, do you know if she'll get any more for valentines?

if not, she ll just love that youve gave her one

go on paddy son

Claymores 12-02-2010 01:21 PM

" you are so cute, signed P. Can I please ask you to come to the movies with me one night?" and if extra brave..........."My phone number/emial is.......can we chat?"

I was planning on doing that part lol
She got my Phone Number, we were texting for ages last night.

I suppose I could ask her to the cinema like you said.
I was going to write somthing like 'I could write a poem but you probley already know how much I like you'

But idk, I never write valentines cards thats why its hard.

Claymores 12-02-2010 01:31 PM

Sounds like you've made progress since opening this thread Patrick - get her on IM service on Sunday by inviting her to join and talk online..........then you can chat outside of school where you said you male pals were making things embarrassing/awkward.

I've seen your posts - you'll have your lass romanced by Monday

GOOD LUCK

King Gizzard 12-02-2010 01:31 PM

Just write something nice like Happy Valentines day etc...then say ''If your up for going out then that would be cool'' something that doesnt rush her into a decision or force a decision etc

Yeah :) You've all been very helpful, thanks for the help Claymores.

I might just write,
'To Cara, Your the nicest girl I've ever seen, Happy Valentines day from Patrick'

Do you think thats fine?

You're better at this than me - sounds great! I have the problem saying the love word back to my lass (different situation as you'll understand) as males just not good at this stuff! You're a winner - no cheesy peotry route would still be my suggestion!

hennessy 12-02-2010 01:37 PM

Roses are green

Hope you went for it - maybe some of female FMs could have suggested more but it was not something you invented yourself. So it was honest and you.
