This is what happens when you idolise someone so much, you forget they are only human, just like everybody else. This obsession is not right. It's not healthy.

Right, Im going to put this bluntly...and I might sound very harsh...but when you admit to actually crying about a pop star admitting to having affairs, you should expect some backlash really.

And enid is right, if it was any other member, they would be ripped apart for it.

Think you need to realise that how they appear to be, at signings, on tv and that...is very unlikely to be how they are in real life...the public image is an important thing, they work hard to get people to think they are perfect, when in actual fact, they are no different to anyone else.

Yeah, and the only member to be honest about it was wrongly banned.

Oh really shocked at this! The last person who I thought would be exposed as a cheat was Mark Owen. Just shows really you never know what a person's really like. They could seem like the nicest person in the world but yet behind closed doors it's a whole different story. Not that I think he's a violent man or anything like that but still he's in the same league now as John Terry, Ashley Cole etc. and that is sad. :sad:

Right, let's try and break this down.

Firstly, rapunza or whatever it's called, I was understanding your point until you decided to go and insult people that use this forum a lot, how pathetic. Get over yourself and get back to your life then darling if it's so special. Secondly, I'm not condoning what he did, but I still love Take That and their personal life isn't going change my opinion of them at all. It's their life, and stories like this just bore me to sleep really. Ashley Cole, John Terry, Mark Owen, I don't really care to be quite honest. People cheat in real life and people in the public eye cheat, oh well.

Lastly, Princess, in the nicest way possible, this will hopefully help you to understand how you should never take things at face value with things and people in the media. Everything is built up and their image is generally quite fake, no matter who it is. It's the same case with people like Justin Bieber, he receives a lot of unnecessary hate, because people assume that he's full of himself and that he shouldn't be singing about love. But that's not the case, it's all about pleasing people, and those people are generally quite naive. In the same way, all the little girls that like him think that he's 'the sweetest boy ever', when he's probably really not, he's just built up to be, because that's what helps him sell records. The media can be quite deceiving at times, just try not to let it blind you...

Bloody hell ok I'm sorry for overreacting. But would people leave me alone? Like I'm not allowed to be upset? And I'm sorry for seeing the best in people and believing the best in people. And for not wanting to be cynical or think bad things. It's who I am,I believe the best in people,I live in a happy bubble,I get obsessed way too easily,I cry at absolutely EVERYTHING. Mark has been my favourite member since I've been a fan because he was nice,no I didn't think he was a god or whatever,I didn't think he was a saint or perfect or whatever. But I never thought he would cheat,or at least never to this extent. It's ruined everything I ever thought about Mark and about why I liked him so much,god knows what it's going to do to Take That. So yeah I feel like I'm entitled to be upset at him and the situation without people calling me pathetic and sad and telling me to get a life. Because it matters to me and it may all seem petty to you but it matters a lot to me and you're making me feel about 5 inches high.
