Honestly, I found it much more disturbing seeing Ben (and Dave) over and over again trash-talk people and minutes later he walks out, hugs and smiles at them, pretending to be best buddy's.

That sounds far too akin to the old line of defence trotted out by rapists, "She said no, but she didn't move did she", and I'm taken aback that anyone would think the word awkward resembles any similarity to 'enjoying or loving' something as you have suggested.

Not suggesting that Mario is a rapist, but in this particular scenario, he cleary is happy forcing himself on someone,therefore hence my reference. If it's more palatable, a wife beater for example, tends to assimilate the same twist on words (ie: "She asked for it", when clearly, the person did not 'ask for it' - but that is how the controlling person views it). Extreme examples but given to clarify complete misinterpretation of words by those who have the ability to abuse / control others by whatever means.

I'm actually quite shocked that Andrew tells Mario that the situation made him feel "Akward", and somehow, in Mario's defence, you have interpreted the word 'awkward' to mean 'loving it'. :conf: It means 'uncomfortable' / not at ease / unsettling. Never could it be misconstrued as anything even remotely close to what you have said.

How do you know Andrew loved it? Are you Andrew? If not, you have no idea what Andrew felt and have only what Andrew actually said, to judge. He certainly didn't say he loved it. (Maybe Corin was shouting, "I'm lovin' it', in the background and you've misheard) :joker:

Also: given the slim and somewhat gangly physical build of Andrew, it's laughable to suggest that Andrew was capable of dragging the portly, far far heavier Dave, anywhere...... even given that Dave had lost a few pounds by that stage! :joker:

In fairness: I didn't - because it wasn't what Mario said, ;). I provided typical examples of behaviour in controlling people and 'what is said during a situation where a person is forcing themselves upon another by whichever means, with that person vocalising how they feel and how the very clear word/s used vs how the spoken word/s are truly misinterpreted - to the advantage of the person doing the 'controlling'. It's a way of the controlling person 'validating' their unacceptable behaviour basically. As far as I'm aware, Mario didn't actually say this (well, not on the 'show' ;)): LauraC did - it's Laura's interpretation of what Andrew said, and her interpretation of it that I was questioning.

More from that angle - they were merely very extreme examples only!!

We aren't here to discuss forum members ;) - although we can discuss and debate the points they may make in respect of what they post regarding Mario, Ben and all such connected things, especially when we're discussing Mario's behaviour in this particular area.

My last contribution on the bollock -v- quiff debate is that, spin it out how you like, exposing one's genitals for whatever reason is NOT acceptable in any situation unless it's between CONSENTING adults, whereas being vain about one's hair is not only perfectly normal, but positively encouraged and promoted in this fashion conscious day and age.

Whilst it may be irritating for some to watch anyone fiddling with their hair, others find it an endearing trait, BUT it is not an arrestable, immoral or indecent act so the fact that the bollock exposing and quiff fiddling are being mooted by Mario fans as comparable activities is quite frankly ridiculous and makes them look extremely foolish.

However, I have to wonder about the mentality of a 28year old man who is still stuck in his teen years and behaves so inappropriately and immaturely on national tv in front of millions - smacks of exhibitionism to me:wink: He was lucky that no-one made a formal complaint about his behaviour, because BB would have been forced to take action.

One of the most uncomfortable moments for me as a viewer was watching ben in a featal position lying on top of dave in the hut, but that was just me thinking of dave's family watching their dad /husband like that, but they are both consenting adults so whatever floats their boat
