Doesn't that spoil the whole "real time" appeal? Even though at 42 mins it never was.

Does a bit I suppose, but if they still stuck with each episode being 1 hour the title wouldn't really make sense anymore, and the plots would accomplish a lot less because they can't exactly have Jack do/travel much in 12 hours

Weird couple of days for Elisha Cuthbert, the show she'll probably be returning to 24 getting revived one day and her new show Happy Endings getting cancelled the day after

i take it this means the movie isn't happening?

Yeah they only wanted to pay Kiefer the same amount he was originally being paid for 1 episode of the show for the entire movie, and the budget they offered wasn't enough

Pretty surprised Vegas is getting cancelled with all the advertising they had for it

Not surprised CSI NY has been cancelled, it never had the impact of the other two, and the lead characters are no where near as good or likeable as the leads in the other two series.

A few on the renewed list that I would have like to have seen cancelled though, like, Once Upon a Time, Grey's Anatomy, Modern Family, The Carrie Diaries, and Criminal Minds.

Modern Family is still getting 10 Million viewers every episode, can't see it being cancelled anytime soon
