Winds here about the 30mph mark........ can see it being an noisy evening if it continues to gain speed.

very windy in newcastle was travelling home on the a1 last night and near durham a lorry had overturned

you need to stop using the royal 'we'.

apparently winds here hit the 74 mph mark i dunno if thats true though

It's ****ing foul here right now! I'm soaked through to the skin, my hair is just hilarious and my mascara has run!

The wind has definitely gathered a lot more speed in the last hour or so. Jesus, its actually gotten worse since I started this message!

According the old t'internet: you're about 40pmh the nooo....... doesn't sound a lot when you say it like that -but ye gads!!

I think it sounds worse as my house sits on a hill and the wind seems to hit it from aw sides! It does seem to be getting worse as we speak though.. :(

Can definitely feel it here, been hearing strong winds all night and it's carried on all day too. I hope it doesn't get worse.

when I nipped out earlier: it's bin day today here -and I think out of about 40 I passed, only one was upright. Mostly coz it had been blown and was jammed between 2 cars!!!

I went down today at lunch in school and oh my sweet jesus the winds :shocked: never in my life felt something so strong and then u would turn a corner after being sheltered for a while and the wind just knocks you over and sprays you in the face with rain :bawling:

Been crazy here. A wall's blown over and my bin eloped with the one next door.

For some reason I thought it was a good idea to leave my window open and the wind blew my mirror off the wall and smashed all over :bored:

It's grim here! I think powers going to go soon.. lights have been flickering on and off for ages!

Not bad at all here, on and off through the day there's been "bursts" of wind but nothing out of the ordinary, "washing clinging to line" wind which is usual here lmao.
