That's not why they do it, they try to give the crap-outs a chance to get real and change their mind... personally I think they should have a big list of standby's and tell them all at the beginning if they go in the diary room and utter the words "I want to leave" that is IT -- no going back in the house to say goodbye, get your stuff, nothing just GONE, then wheel in the next standby
