Just still love how much the ratings have grown! To go from 1.46 and two days later be at 2.17 is great.

jackc1806 21-08-2012 11:29 AM

Will it average higher than cbb9 then?

Nah, CBB9 officially averaged 2.6. I reckon if the rating continue though, we could get an official average of 2.3ish. I could be wrong, just depends on the ratings.

So far:

Launch- 2.7m
Thursday- 1.71m
Friday- 1.82m
Friday Live Noms- 1.92m
Saturday- 1.46m
Sunday- 1.89m
Monday- 2.17m

There have been one or two favourable comments in the daily mirror and on radio 5 live, mainly because of julie goodyear and martin kemp being in it. It is STILL only 2 million though. And I watched on +1 because I didn't want to miss the ITV1 drama....

2.17m for last night!!

Soars past 2m for the first time for a HL show!! Great increase.

That's absolutely brilliant that the ratings got over 2m:dance:

Redway 21-08-2012 01:45 PM

"Highlights of Day 5 from the house garnered 1.89m (7.9%) for Channel 5 in the 9pm hour, adding an impressive 276k (1.6%) on +1."

276K added to 1.89m = 2.166m = 2.17m to two decimal places.

Impressive figures.

I really hope Celebrity Big Brother 10 continues to do well - it deserves it imo :)

If it gets overnight of 2.3m (around 2.6m officials) it would match CBB9. But CBB9 launched with around 900k more so anything near that it would be seen as a success.

Tonight I am unsure it will get 2m as it's on at 10pm but there is less competition. But Weds eviction should pull in decent numbers.

Jake. 21-08-2012 08:01 PM

I reckon 1.9 tonight.

jackc1806 21-08-2012 08:03 PM

If it gets above 2 million its done well

*mazedsalv** 21-08-2012 08:08 PM

Hopefully over 2m again tonight, might be tougher as it's on at 10pm instead of 9pm.

That's why I'm not so sure. It might suprise me though. Any idea what the same episode last year grabbed?

jackc1806 21-08-2012 08:14 PM

Person of interest will be a good lead in

*mazedsalv** 22-08-2012 09:58 AM

Last night got 1.96m (11.2%) EXCLUDING +1. The +1 did not exceed 100k, but in general +1 usually gets 70-80k for 11pm. So we can say it went over 2m again.

Great for the first 10pm slot of the series to get 2m. And one of the highest share that I can remember this year in general.

This 2m rating incl +1 means the eviction should get 2.2m+ tonight.

jackc1806 22-08-2012 10:11 AM

Christ that is great; what were 10pm slots getting in CBB 9?

SSL2012 22-08-2012 10:29 AM

I'm gunna go with a 2.2/2.3mil for the HL's tonight.

1.8mil for live from the house

and 800,000 for bbbots.

I think in general the 10pm slot was getting around 2.1m-2.3m overnights and 9pm was getting around 2.4m.

Tonight should be around 2.2m-2.3m I would predict.

Redway 22-08-2012 12:17 PM

It's a real shame 5-minute consolidation figures aren't posted alongside the average. It would be really good to get a more accurate picture of just how many times it hit 2 million throughout the hour.

Fucking brilliant and all. It's bound to be well above the 2 million mark today.

Any predictions?

Jake. 22-08-2012 02:28 PM

2.3 tonight I reckon, its great how well ot done in the 10PM slot, and such a good share.

Jake. 22-08-2012 02:37 PM

I really thought this series would average something like 1.7 million.

BigBrotherfan4ever 22-08-2012 02:40 PM

That's fantastic news the rating are on the up, I just wish sky+ & on demand counted towards the ratings aswell, it would be really interesting to see what that would bring the ratings up too.

I think they do when the officials are released?
