Not really.
When you have the mixing of genes, the result is quite random. So when it comes to two people; one white, one black having a baby then the baby can be born ranging from very light to very dark.

Their ancestry would probably play a part in those chances too.

Redway 28-11-2012 09:06 PM

Fair enough. My step-mum's biracial and her kids are at the slightly darker end of the mixed race scale (but not 100% black I don't think).

Denise simply needs more storylines because Diane Parish is a brilliant Actress and I hope that Lorraine Newman gives the character her deserved time to shine:).

She's been here coming up 7 years now and I reckon she had her day between 2006 and 2008. She's been a background character since 2010 and even if they wanted to give her new storylines I fail to see what they would give her. Since she's arrived on the square, she's had three partners dead and has been locked in a cellar by some psycho Christian? She's exhausted.

Good example would be Michael Jackson's kids, who show no signs of being black at all

Redway 28-11-2012 09:18 PM

Yeah that's true. My own step sisters, as I said earlier, are a mix between mixed race and light black I guess.

Dot's return. I am looking forward to her scenes with Abi, they are so nice and not vile unlike the rest of the mob they are family with:).

Lorraine Newman said that she has got plans for Denise and Patrick is getting a big storyline soon, it is good to know that she likes those characters and is not revolving everything around certain families;).

I felt sorry for Bianca yesterday on her return, it is obvious she would feel emotionally drained after just leaving prison.

And we're back to crappy Kat's affair again.

Derek saving this shower of **** ATM. The Kat storyline along with Lauren and Joey is too much for one to handle.

I hope EastEnders will be in a better state next year and hopefully there will be more changes to get it back to top form:).

I think 2012 really has been the worst year for EE :( I don't know why people say 2004 was when that was miles better

bbfan1991 02-12-2012 04:36 PM

I just cannot wait for the Branning storylines and the Kat shagger thing to be over tbh!
