I think we could see a huge +1 showing, again, I know Twitter doesn't indicate anything, BUT during the +1 showing, more CBB related topics were trending than during the 9pm showing. A lot of tweets saying how they watched the comedy double in BBC1 and then CBB on +1.

Bigger than last night or about the same? Did much trend during the +1 last night? The additional trends could just be down to less stuff competing for a TT (did Miranda and MBB trend a lot?).

There was one trend on +1 last night just for around 15 mins, tonight there were 3 trends for around 40 mins up until 10:40pm, when at 9pm, there were only 2.

DigitalSid 07-01-2013 10:33 PM

Hmm, it's easier to trend at 10 than it is at 9, so I won't read too much into it but I can see it +1ing similar to the last few days anyway as it doesn't seem to be a fluke yet.

I think CBB has a much older audience and tweets dont mean anything.

Tonights episode was brilliant and deserves 3 million to be fair.

Onviously thats not going to happen but if it gets under 2.2 i will be dissapointed as it would be a shame casual viewers didnt get to see it.

Alot of advertising still going on nightly on ITV now aswell.

You should edit the first post every few days to include them, would be nice to have the previous overnghts to hand next time rather than having to rummage for or piss off rzt and the others who keep them with requests.

Live = As first aired at 9. Basically, not including +1.

emmetmcl 08-01-2013 10:39 AM

Any idea what BOTS got?

Hmmm i thought it would be getting about 2.4/2.5 by now.

Seems its settles around 2/2.2 mark which isnt to bad i suppose.

Pretty much on parr with CBB10

SSL2012 08-01-2013 11:19 AM

Tbf its had alot of competition since Friday. :(, surely it will go above 2.2 tonight? Last night's peak of 2.6mil is encouraging at least.

daniel-lewis-1985 08-01-2013 11:28 AM

So what was last night actual overnight?

None of this 2.2 peak 2.6 sh!t lol.

Just say it as it is.

Stop being so defensive lol it is pretty much getting the same as CBB10.

Just stating the facts.

2.2m is brilliant up against two of the biggest shows for the CBB demographic. Daniel, I do really think it could match CBB9.

Let's not forget that averaged 2.6m, with two 2.2m ratings in the last two days, those will most likely be 2.5m officially, could go higher as the tough competition would lead to more people recording.

Tonight is on at 10pm, not sure what will happen, it's the first 10pm and that usually causes a drop in ratings, however it is the weakest competition since launch. Tomorrow night, I reckon we could see 2.4m-2.5m for the eviction, it's on at 9pm with quite small competition compared to what it has faced recently. And if BOTS "confirms" Lilo (which I doubt), there will be a lot of interest tomorrow.

It wont match CBB9 imo remember CBB9 had a few nights were it was almost 3 million and over 3 million for fight night 3.

Unless we get LILO in or a massive fight i think we are looking at a 2.4 average.

I think we can achieve 2.5m. CBB9 wasn't close to 3m that many times really.

There was actually only three times (five times including launch and final) where the series OFFICIALLY got 2.8m+ (would have been around 2.5m overnight for that to happen). If it wasn't for the fight and the final, the series would have actually averaged 100k lower at 2.5m.

At this rate we are looking at 2.4m-2.5m. A couple of episodes at around a 2.8m+ officially (one HL show and the final) could actually bring it to 2.6m. So if we want it to average the same as CBB9, we only need a few episodes around 100k-200k higher than we have had recently. It's actually possible, not sure it will happen though.

For the fight, overnight was 2.8m and the officials were 3.11m if anyone wanted to know.

I'll wait for the officials until i make a judgement on how the show is doing :idc:
