oh wow, those are some...special...boots

Ryan57 04-09-2013 07:19 PM

His stamina will be interesting to see. Never seemed to finish games for Real under Jose. Then it continued in the short time he played under Ancelotti, yet for Germany he finishes games...

King Gizzard 04-09-2013 07:22 PM

Surprised they let him do that shot with adidas boots..not that he could have done them with nike ones because of his sponsorship

Ancelotti has made it clear he wants the scoring spread between CR and now Isco and Bale..it's why he effectively chose them over Ozil.

King Gizzard 04-09-2013 07:38 PM

I know it's only 3 games in but he's only scored 1

he's pissed off with the club/florentino as it is I don't know why they're continuing to piss him off when they want him to sign a new contract (which he's not going to sign lets be honest)

Getting him to sign a new contract was more important than buying Bale, or any of the other players they bought

Unless they finally cba with Ronaldo anymore and are planning without him, they can be just as good without him I suppose

Drew. 04-09-2013 08:27 PM

i watched a video to remind myself of all the goals Bale scored last season and with the defences in La Liga not exactly the sharpest defences in the world i can see him destroying so many teams over there.. his pace and strength is frightening and his finishing from outside the box and from set pieces was immense.. even with 1 on 1's he tucked it away nicely, wouldnt be surprised to see him scoring more goals than Ronaldo.

and i think Isco can score as many as Ozil has but he wont get nowhere near the same amount of assists

Shaun 04-09-2013 08:28 PM

excuse me what has this got to do with arsenal :nono:

Ozil interview

10 consecutive away wins  a club record

Shaun 02-10-2013 10:18 PM

ok obviously i'm delighted about it and everything, but I'm a bit confused by how OTT the Ozil-worship by plaudits and football journos is at the moment... he's scored once, and had I think 2/3 assists... and yet he's being named as the catalyst in our recent turnaround. He's probably the reason there's more belief now, but in terms of how players have contributed, he's probably surpassed by 4 or 5 players at the moment (Giroud, Ramsey, Flamini, Sagna...)

King Gizzard 02-10-2013 10:20 PM

It's the effect, think he's just automatically raised everyone's game

all psychological more than anything

dear god

Shaun 02-10-2013 10:26 PM

*remembers how I started the season saying we should get rid of Ramsey and Sagna*

must have given them the kick they needed

King Gizzard 02-10-2013 10:29 PM

one thing is for sure there's no way its going to stay this perfect is it, something will happen, I'm guessing flamini or giroud injury

Locke. 02-10-2013 10:40 PM

Ozil out for the season

Brother Leon 02-10-2013 10:53 PM

Ozil to leave in January to join RVP.

King Gizzard 02-10-2013 10:55 PM

Ozil desperately waiting for United to come in in the last minute, wonder if he's actually relieved now, in the short term anyway

Benjamin 02-10-2013 10:55 PM

Glenn pass the potato to Donovan next.

Benjamin 02-10-2013 10:55 PM

Oh, how the hell did I end up in here? :conf2:

He probably is tbf. Although if he did join United we wouldn't be struggling to creete chances and may well be dominating the league again, so who knows

He's on another level, he does things with the ball nobody else in our team can do. Ramseys form right now is pretty special and a lot of it has come from his partnership with Ozil but on a consistent and match to match basis Ozil is one of the most consistent players in the world. Since hes joined he's probably contributed the most offensively, assisting all 3 goals in 1 match and creating most of Ramseys opportunities and then Flamini has been our main guy defensively.. but yeah, i wont stop praising Ozil anytime soon. He deserved all the plaudits he gets
