Im no fan of his but Ron Atkinon did a lot to make football the racially diverse game it is in this country today.
He stood firm when he was getting criticism for playing more black players than any other team manager in the country he took some real abuse for it at the time.
He slipped up nearly ten years ago and said something he shouldnt have but noobs dont know what went before it and what he actually did for the game.
They just jump to that slip up ten years ago and like fools judge him by it or use it as a stick to beat him with like they have never said anything they shouldnt have in their lives.
