Brad Pitt and David Beckham are NOT sexy or fit. They are vile.

Z 06-10-2013 10:49 PM

On some level I believe that Mother Nature does actually exist, and because humans don't have natural predators, instead we have things like infertility, incurable diseases, homosexuality, natural disasters etc as a form of population control, and that no matter how much science tries to cure illnesses, stop disasters and solve problems, there will always be new things popping up that kill humans because there are too many of us.

The rest of me tries to repress this view though

Right. Heres one I will probably be hated for, but I think this thread could end up being fantastic if people just stopped being scared of what others might say :p

Jack, please dont read this, as you will have my head

I do NOT believe this man trapped in a womans body/vice versa stuff. I believe the people getting ops done and stuff just want the attention/to be different. I also think sometimes it is people who are gay but don't want to admit it, so come out with the 'Im a different gender in my head' thing. I dont think funding for these kinds of ops should be available on the NHS.

On the subject of NHS..I dont think we should fund gastric bands. Or any kind of cosmetic surgery (with the exception of reconstructions after masectomies, after accidents, etc)

*Awaits abuse/being called transphobic/etc*

I agree with you on unnecessary surgeries on the NHS.

I kind of agree with the transgender thing... but then maybe I'm a bit ignorant when it comes to transgendered people, I don't know any personally; my views are more based on the fact I know a drag queen and he is the biggest attention seeker I know and I suppose I associate them with transgender people, perhaps I shouldn't.

Certainly I don't think there's much difference between an extremely effeminate gay man and a man wishing to be a woman - they're both attracted to men, both embrace feminine culture over masculine culture... I don't really see much of a difference.

I think the Police (including PCSO's) should be able to give chavs and thugs a damn good rattling.

A lot of people on TiBB are actually quite irritating and they have these outspoken opinions on how the world should be and how people should run their lives, but can barely deal with running their own lives.

the abusive, violent and antisocial ones (95%) of them then yes

Kizzy 06-10-2013 11:01 PM

I think teachers should be able to smack kids.

Vicky. 06-10-2013 11:02 PM

I don't think hospitals should help anyone who tries to kill themselves.

Z 06-10-2013 11:02 PM

I think the victim (or victim's family, if the victim died as a result) should be able to dictate the punishment of the criminal, if a jury finds them guilty; with a judge merely there to ensure it's not totally over the top or too lenient.

Black Dagger 06-10-2013 11:04 PM

fat people shouldn't be allowed to leave the house.

Black Dagger 06-10-2013 11:05 PM

sorry I went a bit Katie Hopkins on us all there.

I agree with this too, that's why i'm in favour of the death penalty.

i know if someone I loved was brutally murdered, i'd want the person who killed them dead.... that's just me though
