I watched The Hole in the cinema, and I think it could be a bit too scary for a 9 year old.

You might be better looking at it yourself first, just to make sure.

Tremors would probably be a 12 now. It's quite comic but a bit scary.

Jaws is another one - don't know if that is okay for a nine year-old. Actually it has a couple of gruesome scenes now I think of it.

..Tremors is a good movie, Niamh..and funny/scary..a bit like Critters but it is quite an old movie though....
