Glasgow Grand Prix (also part of Diamond League) is this Friday @ 6:30pm on BBC2, and Saturday @ 2:30pm on BBC1. Should be a great event leading up to the commonwealths, will be the first time the stadium is used for athletics too.

Looking forward to tomorrow's meeting

Amazing line up for the womens 400m and men's 100m

Headie 10-07-2014 06:31 PM

Christine O and Mo Farah have pulled out, it seems.

Novo 10-07-2014 06:45 PM

Im more interested in the up and comers now, Laura Wieghtman has a good chance of finishing in the top 3 tomorrow and i think KJT will do really well in the long jump as well although Bartaletta is a class above the rest of that starters list, and there is Muir v Wallace in the 800m as well

Headie 11-07-2014 05:56 PM

Easy win for Weir

Novo 11-07-2014 07:23 PM

KJT with a PB and only 3 cm short of Bartaletta

Novo 11-07-2014 07:25 PM

Ashton Eaton getting 2nd in the 400m hurdles is unreal in that strong field considering he doesn't do 400m hurdles at all

Novo 11-07-2014 07:57 PM

Blake pulling up with an injury

Headie 12-07-2014 01:09 PM

On right now

Headie 12-07-2014 02:12 PM

Absolutely brilliant run from Matthew Hudson-Smith to break the 45-second barrier! Broke his PB by almost a second! 44.97... wow!

Conrad Williams also running 45.46 to confirm his place for the European Champs... think Hudson-Smith will be joining him and Martyn Rooney in Zurich!

Novo 12-07-2014 02:28 PM

Yep and second in Europe, which is more important this year as European Champs follow Commonwealths pretty soon after

Novo 12-07-2014 02:34 PM

I forgot all about the European Championships

She was one of the pundits for the Euro Team Champs a few weeks back, she was saying that when she comes back she's going to do the 400 flat instead and try and go for the British Record set by Chrissy O. Can't wait for that! Always thought she suited 400 flat better than the hurdles anyway.
