I think ROB was referring to our one and only Profit of Doom.
Shouldn't that be Prophet of Doom, LEE? Anyway thanks, I thought it was something of Doom but wasn't sure what the P stood for.

Have you ever seen the website Googlism?

Here's what it says about Prophet of Doom

BHLCS, he is having SUCH fun!:love::laugh:

James 19-02-2003 07:08 PM

Yes, Paul impersonating a character from one of his favourite films, I believe.

Your choice ROB for the next picture.

If I can chip in, There must be some good memorable quotes from the eviction interviews with Davina McCall :conf:

Kaz 19-02-2003 07:34 PM

I'm sure there are, Sticks - but I fear it might be a bit difficult to tell what they are just from a picture of Davina and the evictee sitting there chatting!

Plus the eviction interviews weren't shown on the DVD or BBRM (except Narinder's for some odd reason).

I'm sure if it is feasible though, James is your chap.

James? :conf:

Romantic Old Bird 19-02-2003 07:38 PM

I don't mind James, seriously. But let's face it any clip of Narinders eviction (yes, why WAS that one shown?? It certainly wasn't the best!) will be just her saying they were all boring!

I know, let's have another GARDEN scene, whoever!

This one is not exactly an eviction interview but it is from an eviction night.

You might need a clue: it's the night Paul was evicted.

Kaz 19-02-2003 08:25 PM

  :conf:   :conf:

OK Sticks - you asked for it . . . . . you answer it! :spin2:

Good luck.

I don't know if this counts as a garden scene (it's more like a decking scene). Stuart scares Brian:

Was it something like

Aaarghhh It's Evil

:wavey:

James 19-02-2003 09:38 PM

It's not that Miriam. I was about to edit the original post with the picture there, because it was ambiguous.

I was actually thinking about what Stuart had just said and showed Brian.

A better clue is in order here:

This was when Davina was interviewing Helen and Paul's friends and family. Helen's mum had just said something to Davina.

Does that jog any of your memories?

Mairi 20-02-2003 10:35 AM

In the picture, Stuart was asking Brian if he wouldn't mind having a look at his eye as he thought he had something in it.

He certainly did have something in his eyes, trick cat's eyes lenses.

I still remember Brian's "scream"!!

:joker:

James 21-02-2003 07:35 PM

Yeah, that's it - sorry for not making the question clearer.

Who's it to be next then?

Re: the Davina quote. I think that it's a nearly impossible one, so here another clue:

Helen's mum, Liz, had just said, 'If you look at them, as they walk around the house, their eyes follow each other'.

What did Davina say next?

Romantic Old Bird 21-02-2003 07:44 PM

I think she said:

'I've been looking Liz, I've been looking. And there's all the skin touching as well!'

James 21-02-2003 09:56 PM

Let's have a listen to find out if you're correct:

Ker-ching!

Who now ROB?

(looks like there's two questions on the go now. More work finding these pics for me! Not that I mind of course. Don't forget anyone can put up any pictures you have, that you know a quote goes with, on this thread)

Mairi 21-02-2003 10:27 PM

James, you are a star and I absolutely love this thread.

I think, to be fair, it's time we had a Narinder photo, please.

:hello:

James 21-02-2003 10:58 PM

I actually like doing these pictures (in case I gave the wrong impression there, and thought I was having a grumble)

Anyway, here's Narinder:

kaphc 22-02-2003 07:10 PM

Is that Narinder saying that the worst nightmare would be <grin> <ugh> and Mr Motivator?

James 22-02-2003 09:05 PM

Yes kaphc, that's exactly right, I think.

The sequence went something like this:

And Mr Motivator.

The psychologist Geoffrey Beattie said those two pictures represented Helen and Amma respectively but I think he got it wrong maybe. Didn't Narinder mean Paul and Helen?

Anyway, kaphc who do you want to see a picture of now?

Romantic Old Bird 23-02-2003 07:52 AM

Nope James, Paul and Amma.

Nasty, nasty girl!:spin2:

kaphc 23-02-2003 09:02 AM

Just to make up for Narinder's mean impression, can we have one of Amma please?

Kaz 25-02-2003 09:33 PM

Hi James. :wavey:

Just bumping this back up onto 'Today's Posts'.

Have you got a picture of Amma for kaphc? She didn't really say a lot, did she? (Amma that is!) :spin2:
