That cycling was so intense then.

Really don't know what has happened with our guys tho. Disappointing. Kierin was my favourite event in the cycling outside of the Elimination race at the Olympics so it's a shame that we have no finalist in it.

At least we have a wake up call before Rio now, just read that Laura has had a kidney infection and she hasn't ate properly for the past few days and still won an endurance race like that

Black Dagger 27-07-2014 05:59 PM

It is odd how cycling has sort of tailed off and we sort of expect more gold medals in the swimming now to make up for it.

Black Dagger 27-07-2014 06:01 PM

This badminton is great as well. Didn't expect to enjoy it. Will have it on in the background of the swimming I think.

Novo 27-07-2014 06:05 PM

The 2004 badminton team of Gail Emms and Nathan Robertson were the goats

Novo 27-07-2014 07:35 PM

Jesus Christ, Siobhan literally destroyed the whole pool there.. she is GOAT material

Shaun 27-07-2014 07:36 PM

this is pretty much all i've been able to watch all weekend

great stuff though, found myself more absorbed than i thought i'd be

Novo 27-07-2014 07:46 PM

Its almost time to witness Fran win her second gold medal

Jack_ 27-07-2014 09:01 PM

Amazing win by some English guy in a down to the wire table tennis match

After having led 2-0 he won 3-2 in a final game that was won after 11 match points

First time I've cheered at a win these games, didn't think it'd come in a random tennis table match I switched onto :joker:

Novo 27-07-2014 09:05 PM

The crowd was so into that match the atmosphere must have been unreal, that celebration at the end as well >

Novo 27-07-2014 09:06 PM

Wow South Africa have beat NZ in the 7s at Ibrox, first time NZ have ever lost in the commonwealths, massive shock

Novo 27-07-2014 09:09 PM

We have 2 English men in the Squash final and one in the bronze medal match and the Men's table tennis team and mixed badminton team in the finals as well, amazing stuff

Black Dagger 27-07-2014 09:52 PM

That table tennis celebration from Pitchford was superb. :joker:

And I'm the same Shaun. I was so into Olympics but I thought I'd just be a casual watcher of the games but I've had the official website up with the schedule up and been multi screening and watching events again that I usually wouldn't outside of Olympics and Commonwealths. That shooting today was brilliant.

Jack_ 28-07-2014 02:44 PM

Get that video posted it's insane :joker:

Flicking between the all English squash final on BBC1 and the 1-1 final game England VS Malaysia badminton final on BBC3

Novo 28-07-2014 04:48 PM

****, we are always the nearly guys when it comes to Badminton, its near enough the #1 sport in Malaysia so its not to bad, if only we won that 2nd match though

Black Dagger 28-07-2014 05:08 PM

Aww. Looks like we are done in the Badminton. Unless we goat it up in these last two matches.

Least we're looking likely to sweep up a fair few medals in the Gymnastics tomorrow and we have another good few swimming prospects tonight.

Jack_ 28-07-2014 05:15 PM

The one thing I'm really enjoying about these games is the amount of crowd support the home nations are getting, not just Scotland but Wales, England etc too. All massive cheers and even chants of 'ENGLAND!!!' in some of the arenas which is surprisingly amazing, it's really nice to see :flutter:

All the crowds seem to be really enthusiastic and near full in most of the sports I've been watching too which is also great, reminds me of London. I'm definitely as addicted as I was two years ago, have been watching for about 10 hours each day

Brother Leon 28-07-2014 06:01 PM
