For the first few weeks she watches Helen shout and scream and bully Jale, Danielle, Matthew, Chris, Christopher etc and get multiple warnings and you wonder why she stayed in the backgroud? We hardly seen Chris or Christopher either for the first few weeks.
You seem to have expected a teenager to have marched up to a loud mouthed vile bully and tackled her! After the behaviour she seen from her with others who crossed her? So what does she do - she bitches about her with her friend - completely normal for a teenager.
So during girl power she uses her intelligence to weaken the untouchable Helen's position. She tries to get Helen's bestie, Ash, up for nomination and she is happy and excited when it works. This is the Ash who laughs at Helen's name calling and eggs her on, remember. All you can say is she was being spiteful and horrible as if Helen and Ash were the 2 loveliest people in there....
She's had storylines that showed how resilient and courageous she is when BB set her up - first when they gave Kim and Helen ammunition to slate her from the morgue - second they showed the video to Helen, Kim and Jale - third she got immunity from the public and BB unexpectedly gave others the power to take it away from her. Throughout all this, she kept her cool and her dignity and took it on the chin.
As she has done when nominated - unlike Ash and Steven who moaned and whined said they didn't deserve to be up!
She conducted herself maturely and well the week she had the power.
Also remember that Chris adores her, said she was amazing and wants to spend time with her. He said last night that he couldn't wait to meet her boyfriend because 'he is a part of Ashleigh that he doesn't know'. Chris is astute and intelligent. Do you really think he would want to spend so much time around a boring, uninteresting young girl all the time even if he did fancy her (which I think is rubbish, by the way).
If you have watched the video's you would see more of Ashleigh having fun and doing other things, which is the same for all the other HM's. The editing of the HL shows have been terrible this year.
So all in all, I really can't see why you write such venom about Ashleigh while finding excuses for Helen. But each to their own.

I am not writing venom about Ashleigh, I don't really care for her as I cannot stand 2 faced people, something someone bullied I would have thought would set out to avoid doing at all.
I have every right to put my point as to her as I see what her actions are in the house, not out of it, and I don't like what I see,I have never made a thread about Ashleigh because I don't care for her, you however cannot resist any little dig at Helen even as to her son and herself as a Mother recently.
However, those who dislike Helen have every right to say their thoughts from their perspective of watching her in the house just as everyone else can about Ashleigh too.
Ashleigh was not forced to go on BB, she applied and chose to and if she does things people find offensive, ignorant and 2 faced, she will get that criticism rightly levelled at her just as Helen's gets too.
A teenager, come on jet, Helen is hardly collossus, teenagers can say plenty with no fear at all to people older than them.
I considered myself an adult at 18, Ashleigh is also one, or are you saying she isn't.
She is also an equal housemate,so for me,in that case, if she has to have special consideration since she is 'only 18', (that old chestnut again),then no way should she be or should she have gone in the BB house at all.
It is never a picnic for anyone in the BB house and she well knew that before she went in I would dare bet.
You say did I expect a teenager to stand up against Helen, who you claim to be a bully which is to me incorrect anyway.
Yes, I would expect her to, she is on TV monitored by BB,what on earth could happen to her if she stood up to anyone, nothing at all.
If she has been bullied in life as you state, then how really sad and bad of her to then victimise Ash just to get at Helen, by attempting to wreck his chances in the series by manipulating others to make sure he stayed up for eviction.
I tell you this, if she has really been bullied in her past, then sadly she hasn't learned anything at all from that other than be nasty to others herself too.
That shouldn't inspire admiration and respect for her,it should bring out contempt in my opinion.
