I wonder how many people will be as good at their jobs when they are 70 as they are when they are young, especially when their skull was fractured and they were in a coma for 4 weeks resulting in obvious brain damage. What the hell is the matter with people. One poxy little task when he is 70 does not define a man who has proved his talents in the many, many films and television shows he has starred in.

How some people can so clearly fail to understand the effects of age and brain damage is mind boggling. Many would consider such ignorance and stupidity as being far more brain damaged.

People say that a lot about deaf people but believe me, its a load of twaddle and insensitive. There are lots of differs ts tyoes of deafness, I fir example, miss certain sounds so often just pick out bits.it also depends on a persons voice, plus accents can be a nightmare, as is several people speaking over each other. I could go on but you could read up about it, it might happen to you one day and being prepared helps!

I've been deaf in one ear from a child and it is very disabilitating sometimes,I cannot hear certain tones and anyone that mumbles is a nightmare,luckily I have good hearing in my other ear,but I'de hate to think what it would be like to lose my hearing in that ear,it can and is quite embarrassing sometimes.

As a detractor of Gary and supporter of some of the more truly obnoxious HM's, I feel you have hoisted yourself on your own petard; "if someone was polite and decent they would show greater respect". What respect have Stephanie, James, George and Ricci shown?

It is not fake if he is saying his thoughts out loud, it is his opinion and the fact that he is saying it out loud doesn't automatically make it fake.

I say things to myself at times out loud, how am I fake, some people are different to others and Gary has shown several traits which are all his own and mainly it is why he is so entertaining.

Long may he keep being different.

Sorry, but how is that fake :conf: That doesn't make any logical sense at all. For someone to be fake, they would need to be behaving differently in the BB house to the way they behave normally. If you look at any youtube footage you will see that he behaves in exactly the same way there - Therefore he is not fake :smug:

You claim Gary is fake and a bad actor, something that a whole academy of peers and public who love him couldn't see and what you find obvious; that claiming to be spiritual means you have to have abilities that millions of people who waged war for and died because of didn't have. hes awesome, the most geuine housemate in big brother history. totally natural, totally unpretentious, warm, funny, original, unique, maverick. I lov his preaching to camera, his narratives, his prayers, his spirituality, his observations etc I love the fact hes not nasty and bitchy and backstabbing like all the others...hes so much bigger than that. hes busy serving higher purposes... in this little narrow minded tinpot country of ours, we need desperately need more spiritual people like gary, we are too scared to even discuss or show our warm and spirituality. so constrained are we , so oppressed are we for fear of offending someone....spirituality is a great thing to believe in, imo, even if you dont believe in religion , spirituality is one of the best of things and a good thing never dies. thanks gary for reminding us x
