I don't blame Perez, nobody forced Alex to take drugs but the stress Perez put him though probably didn't help any.

Housemates had no idea that Alex was withdrawing from drugs. I think Perez noticed and told Nadia. That would explain his aggressive behavior and the reason why he wanted to leave after less than a week.
