Pretty accurate tbh - BB will definitely be below 2m. Sad.

TBH I think 1.8 is good look at TOWIE its only getting 500k now and is still seen as a success.

The shows 15 years old and on its 16th series.

Im not to bothered about ratings this year though it would be nice to see it bounce back.

I have a feeling its the final civilian anyway especially with old housemates returning its kind of got a goodbye feeling to it.

Im looking forward to tonight.

Can I just point out that when you say it will be under 2 million you get people agreeing and when I say it im being negative? lol

Lol, I agree with you to be honest. I'm not AS bothered about the ratings this year because I have got a feeling it will be the civilian series. And with CBB being so popular in January, it's obviously going to get brought down a lot from that.

I stand by my earlier post. I don't think it will hit 2m. The last 2 series got 2.2m for their first launches I think.

You agree it will be the last civilian series you mean?

They even released the housemates a week before launch its like well its the last one whats the point in even trying to pretend anyone cares about even finding out who the housemates are anymore coz its true.

The media don't care there really is no need for them to go into hiding anymore.

There is signs of them slowly moving away from CBB with the football contact.

Quite a lot of clashes tonight.

So there's Champions League, Empire and Geordie Shore.

Think 24 Hours in the past is more of a threat

That's older skewing though. BBC1 dramas never appeal to the BB audience, but things like Geordie Shore do. Which is a reason why Tuesdays dip in audience compared to Monday, Weds-Friday and Sunday in the last 3 series.

There's also No Offence on Ch4 which had a young audience last week. I don't think BB will make it to 2m.

1.8 inc +1

mrmattybeck1 13-05-2015 08:56 AM

Oh dear :(

mrmattybeck1 13-05-2015 08:57 AM

I thought the launch was fantastic hopefully it can hold up

Jamesy 13-05-2015 09:31 AM

It's still 300k more than Power Trip last year so in hindsight it's actually a pretty good rating!

Will. 13-05-2015 09:38 AM

Oh no, not too bad but not that good!! Should hold up though

Vanessa 13-05-2015 09:39 AM

Good ratings. The normal BB is never going to get the audince CBB gets anyway.

JohnnyBB 13-05-2015 09:56 AM

600k for bit on the side is that up or down?

mrmattybeck1 13-05-2015 10:24 AM

Same share as last two civilian series I believe

Jamesy 13-05-2015 10:31 AM

Slightly down. Last year it got 707k on launch night.
