Then we clearly never felt it needed to be discussed, more than likely because it is a rule break no matter how you try to cover it up by claiming it was a joke.

And Josy it should've been discussed when most of the Forum was laughing at the post, because guess what? They took it as a joke instead of someone just having some personal vendetta against Perez fans at the time and saw it as a way to strike.

I have to say, i remember reporting that post, not because you were a Perez fan, that didn't bother me, the comment itself bothered me, if you meant it as a joke, it was a greatly misjudged and offensive one which didn't seem like a joke at all.

Imo when people are getting all carried away like that is when the Mods should step in and have a look at the context first, instead of just infracting and then when I try to explain myself back to them, they don't reply.

Joking with friends is a world away from joking with people you don't know.

We can generally tell the difference. With 'in jokes' we do often ignore insults and stuff unless the person on the recieving end reports.

It was a personal attack on Hopkins fans, hence why it was reported and you got infracted for it, don't try and swing it around on the people who got offended :suspect:

That you get infracted for a joke? Even though everyone would probably be banned on here by now (including myself) if all "offensive" jokes was to be taken literally within the rules.

There's no excuses here, it should've been reversed.

And Mods seem to just infract anyone that gets reported which is a bit silly, and as I've already said a lot of Hopkins fans was on edge in that series because everybody elses fans hated their favourite, and imo I think some of them couldn't handle the Forum jokes very well as I remember that 10 page thread that also got shut down on me because I dared to call Perez "Jesus" or the time when he survived against Nadia and how I apparently was "disrespecting Freddie Mercury's name" by saying we are the champions.

But back on my original issue, having a joke shouldn't get you infracted, otherwise we all would've been infracted at some point with our jokes because they've offended people.

You broke a rule, it doesnt matter if you claim that it was a joke as it was still a rule break, you offended other members with the comment that you posted and the last 2 infractions you have on your profile before the one you are going on about now where for discussing fans so you knew before you even posted the 'joke' that you were breaking a rule.

Tbf though the Mods and Admin don't like people causing trouble over infractions on the Forum, yet they don't engage with the members that do try to PM them over the issue, and then come up with rules that don't exist to excuse their mistake.:joker:
