I used to think BB14 was the best C5 series.
I've now realized that BB13 is.

BB14 was a great series, but had just as much interference and outside contact as BB15 did, looking back.

I wish Emma presented BB13.

BB13 is like a Channel 5 version of BB6.

Personally I think BB13 was tacky as hell!!! (NOT AS BAD AS BB12)
The only thing I liked about BB13 was The eye (NOT THE GRAPHICS)
The house, But I think I was just excited that it had a slight change in layout and the horrible spiral stairs from bb12 where gone! But after about a week the house was awful to look at!

The twist in the white room was really the icing on the cake for me to realise how much influence Producers have now, That White room could have been done so much better!

That's one thing I hated about BB13.
It was very trashy and tacky.

The editing. The overused music, and Marcus.
The glitz and glamour feel to it. Agree it wasn't as bad as BB12, but even BB15 wasn't that trashy, looking back.

I re-watched an episode of BB13 last week, and was astounded to see that despite how bad it is now, it's not as bad as it was for the first 2 years on Channel 5.

The BB13 house was also tacky. I think I only liked the kitchen.
The Diary room was awful, as was the bedroom.

I liked the long pool, with the mini square jacuzzi though.

In all fairness, every house on C5, bar BB15's house has been tacky.

The launch was tacky.
Those drag queen dancers coming out when Brian came out of the eye, and the men holding umbrellas when most of the female housemates came out of the eye. :shocked:

The eye was nice, I liked the 3D block feel it had, but the clouds were awful.
I hated the opening titles, and how you could see the housemates faces.

I think the show is less trashy now than it was in 2011-2012, TBH.
However, the production were less meddling back then.

It says a lot when BB13 only had one twist, the White Room, when nowadays we have a Twist every other day, or in BB15's case every 3 hours.

...I'm not sure how that was influenced by the producers. The four housemates with the fewest nominations had to choose between themselves who went to the White Room, then Sara dropped out, leaving Luke S and Conor. I've a feeling the White Room would have been a fair bit more popular if it involved people who were bearable.

Actually, compared to BB15, BB13 was very light on twists.

Couldn't agree more. BB13 was good because it felt like a C4 series, especially as it had one main twist.

If it had been Deana, Luke A, and Adam, and Adam won the money, it would be seen as a good twist.

Cu-nty Conor didn't help it, by winning the money.

But, the WR was not producer manipulated as opposed to every twist in BB15 or even BB14 for that matter.

I can fully imagine the producers absolutely ****ting themselves when Connor won the money - it was obviously the last thing the viewers wanted and it created no end of backlash for them.

BB7 and BB14 get the love but really BB6 and BB13 were better (obvy BB7 was better than 13 tho)

Last years eye was revealed on Friday, they like revealing news later in the week I think :)

BB7 was great. BB6 was better though.

I think it's BB5 that gets all the love, TBH.
There's something about it I find "off", don't get me wrong it's a classic. But it's no BB6.

The BB6 cast stayed up late, if I remember.

Not to mention Friday Nights on Channel 4, back in 2005 were great.
