I prefer someone who winds me up but is not likely to punch me, personally :umm2:

:clap1::clap1:

Exactly. Marq is using mental abuse in a passive aggressive manor. Look how he was in the first three weeks with his comments to all the women. Except Helen. Who would not have taken it. And Marq knew that. He picks on the weak.

Maybe not. :shrug: Quite sure I have never suffered it in my life...

I don't see marcs behaviour as abuse. He is crude, offensive, irritating...and his 'jokes' are questionable at times. However I feel some peoples dislike of him kinda makes them exaggerate these traits.

Danny on the other hand, has shown clear aggression on a few separate occasions. Yes, maybe Marc said something to irritate him that we weren't shown, but in the face of a windup merchant, most people can control their temper.

The not so weird thing now is that Harry (the sado masochist) is now defending him. Why did she not in the beginning, when he was slating her?

Because it was too personal for her at the time?

Well said, thank god someone can actually see what's going on and see through Marks clever little game plan. He is a very clever guy and knows exactly what he is doing. He realises that his popularity has taken a nose dive so he is working to discredit the others. Marc knows how to push Danny's buttons and unfortunately Danny is playing into his hands. I can't believe that so many people are actually falling for this.At the end of the day we all know a Danny and a Mark. Personally I prefer a Danny, far less scheming and dangerous and at least you know where you stand.

:joker:Maybe you should read some of Dannys twitter remarks and not 'fall' for his so called good looks.

Like I said we all know a Marc, maybe at work or down the pub and yes it is easy enough to control your temper when they are only winding you up for a couple of hours but to tolerate that 24/7? Everyone has a breaking point and that guy could try the patience of a saint. He accuses other people, I.e, Nick, of wanting to win (of course you want to win, everyone in there wants to win) when he is the biggest game player in there. I hated Marc at first, then began to like him, then when Helen came in he showed his true colours. However there are still times I find myself feeling sorry for him and falling for his victim act, he is very very clever.

Harry is not a sheep and jumping on that 'safe' wagon ,she is an individual who can actually tell her side as she is living in it,so she has more insight that us,and is not scared to say it as she sees it.

I know a few tbh. Some I would class as good friends.

I said a lot earlier in the series maybe this is why I don't find his 'banter' offensive.

So you'd rather get punched in the face repeatedly than get called a name? Seriously? :laugh: They are both terrible, but one is clearly worse than the other and Danny is most certainly abusive.

Waynoo 01-07-2015 06:03 PM

No one is not clearly worse than the other. I work with children that have been subjected to both physical and mental abuse and they both leave serious scars. The difference is physical abuse is easier to spot!

Yes ,their girlfriends are usually living in a safe house

Put it this way, you're at a house party, it's 5am, everyone is pissed. An argument breaks out between you and another guest. There's a knife on the table. Would you prefer that argument to be with Marc, Danny or Brian...because, for me, two of those seem to have uncontrollable tempers.

Jesus! I hope you never get put on jury duty! The bloke has lost his cool after putting up with Marc and his mind games 24/7 and suddenly he has an "uncontrollable temper".
