Only players released after the first six can take the exemption if they wish, but only before the next player after them is released.

So if Cal is released 7th he can take the exemption before you release the next player, say Jon.

If Jon is released then Cal can no longer claim it but Jon can until the next player is released.


If someone claims it (which you won't know about until the end) then no more points will be won.
