I'm upset about this.

The comments were unarguably offensive & stupid, but it's tacky & unprofessional of the show not to have researched her past. Or at least have the common sense to know that there would be outrage towards the comment (if that's what they've removed her for).

Literally treating her like a rag doll, disgusting :umm2:

Beetlejuice 28-08-2015 08:59 PM

I'm looking at the quote she's made and I'm trying to work out what's wrong with it.

"Here is a man who was not a coward, stood up for his country in a desperate time of need… and yet not only did he try his best to help his country and people get out of what was a time of depression, economic collapse, high unemployment… he lost the war and was painted out to be a monster after his death. This is what breaks my heart."

Nothing wrong with expressing such an opinion imo.

"I am not worthy to speak loudly of Adolf Hitler, nor do his life and deeds call for sentimental arousal. He was a warrior, a warrior for mankind, and a preacher of the gospel of justice for all nations. He was a reformer of the highest order, and his historical fate was that he lived in a time of unequalled cruelty, which felled him in the end. Thus the ordinary Western European may look upon Adolf Hitler. And we, his close followers, bow our heads at his death"

Knut Hamsun

"due to reason outside channel 5", so Channel 5 weren't the ones who wanted her out but had no choice?

Yeah probably the sponsors.

lewis111 28-08-2015 09:01 PM

Emma has announced it, it's proper real 100% official now

she said reasons outise of big brother, which probably just means that nothing happened in the hose, so it still could be Channel 5 or another company/organisation

Quickest ejection, joint quickest exit with Chris Eubank.

Simon doesn't count cos they put the twit back in.

BB4fan 28-08-2015 09:13 PM

Nice kickoff.

I love freedom of speech tbh

EspeonBB 28-08-2015 09:14 PM

Are they going to replace her? They should put another American female in

Tom4784 28-08-2015 09:14 PM

I'm guessing this was planned from the beginning, no way they didn't know or expect that story to crop up. They stuck her in to stir up some controversy and then sent her on her way when they were done.

Yeah, and sadly the one I want to go in won't.

Brother Leon 28-08-2015 09:22 PM

Meh. Looked like she was going to be James' love interest. Thank **** we were saved from that.

JoshBB 28-08-2015 09:34 PM

****ing idiots.

It took me 30 seconds to find that out, it's on her wikipedia page with sources and everything ffs!

Rob! 28-08-2015 10:44 PM

Bye Jane :(

Lol what a load of absolute bollocks - I don't think it's true that channel 5 didn't have a clue about her views. It's more likely that an external company that are bigger than them said "erm...no" and got her kicked out that way.

nonstop 28-08-2015 10:46 PM

YAS!

Couldn't stand her interaction with Austin. Racist ditz.

Northern Monkey 28-08-2015 10:50 PM

Seems planned.I bet she still got paid.

This.

However, I think this is a dose of karma she deserved. You don't just celebrate one of the most heinous crimes in human history and get off scotch free. I can't think of any excuse for her other than ignorance and mental instability but even that doesn't justify it to me.

iRyan 28-08-2015 11:17 PM

And I used to be a fan of Tila's. I was rooting for her to win.

jegmeister 28-08-2015 11:22 PM

If she has made comments like this, then quite frankly it is ridiculous that she was ever chosen for the show in the first place. Very strange indeed and it is simply not good enough of the producers to just get Emma to announce it and leave it at that. They must realise they can never cover these things up. Don't understand what they're playing at.
