Ah, I see. Well the post implied I shouldn't have posted because the original discussion had ended.

But I didn't realise you're the forum police. :)

If I'd have known I'd have simply ignored like I do with the mods. :hee:

Right, so I wasn't allowed to comment?

Firewire 14-04-2016 11:27 PM

It's MB's fault for not posting

Closed

Underneath his finishing statement. Niamh would do that.

Marsh. 14-04-2016 11:28 PM

Right well there should be a notice or something given the number of times threads are bumped and discussions added to hours, even days after they were last posted in/comments on.

*makes a note of this strange etiquette for online forums*

Perhaps we should have notifications for when discussions are off limits?

I suggest a Brian Dowling one?

It wasn't an argument.

About three people made a comment on it.

Not Brian Dowling making an appearance

I've repeated myself a lot here which I suppose sums up my thoughts that this whole thing would have been better left at 'some people still find the David's dead thing funny, some find that inappropriate, there we go'

Yes, and I've commented on that too?

Perhaps I posted it too late for the deadline? :hee: Is the discussion over yet?

MB. 14-04-2016 11:39 PM

Yes, you commented on it by posting a Brian Dowling meme and using the word "dear" patronisingly

This conversation's doing nothing for either us so yes, I'd like it to be over for both our sakes - I'll just leave my final point that it would have been over days ago had you not brought it back up, which is childish of me to say but in a multi-page argument in a thread about the death of David Gest on a Big Brother forum at half twelve, does that actually amount to anything?

Marsh. 14-04-2016 11:41 PM

Or it wouldn't have even STARTED if it weren't for you?

It wasn't an argument AT ALL until you commented on the audacity of me to post my opinion.

Truly saddened to hear the passing of such a kind and innocent soul. Too many have been taken in such a short space of time :(

His funeral took place today:

Quote:

Flowers in the shape of a musical note and the words "Unforgettable, That's What You Are" adorned the coffin of David Gest as stars including Kerry Katona, Kym Marsh and Darren Day gathered for his funeral.

Gest, 62, was a music producer and the former husband of Liza Minnelli.

He was found dead in a five-star hotel in London on April 12.

A wooden coffin with gold handles and adorned with white flowers arrived in a hearse for the ceremony.

A white floral display with a black musical note, a butterfly and the lyrics to Nat King Cole's famous song rested alongside it.

Denise Welsh, Danniella Westbrook, Gemma Collins, Lizzie Cundy, Vanessa Feltz and Dean Gaffney were also among the mourners at his funeral at Golders Green Crematorium.

The American TV personality gained a following in the UK for his appearances on Celebrity Big Brother and ITV's Grease Is The Word.

Friends with Michael Jackson and Liza Minelli and Gemma Collins ends up at your funeral, I'd be fuming

Babayaro. 29-04-2016 10:08 PM

Well MJ's hardly going to make an appearance is he

Cal. 29-04-2016 10:21 PM

I was honestly just thinking how weird if MJ was still alive. David's funeral would be attended by Sam from Eastenders, Sinead from Hollyoaks and The King of Pop lmao
