I’m guessing Jonathan is the same age as Steve and finishing school too so he might have gone to NYU and that’ll cover the drugs charge because I really don’t think they’ll care enough about the show to let him back in, unless they film his scenes over here

Vicky. 14-11-2017 04:39 PM

I have one episode of series 2 left now...then need something else to bingewatch  Watched this off the back of a report made about this thread actually. I didn't even know this show existed then someone reported a spoiler in here and I ended up watching out of curiosity and liked it, though its a bit weird.

Vicky. 14-11-2017 04:44 PM

Spoiler:

Also from this thread, seems I am the only one who really did not give a crap about Barb?! :joker: Actually just wanted Nancy to shut up about her. I was very 'who the **** cares' about her tbh.

The Sinner is a good binge watch, it's just a one season thing with only 8 episodes

Underscore 14-11-2017 09:14 PM

****in love it hooked along with Riverdale at the mo! 10/10 shows both of them

Josy 15-11-2017 07:00 AM

I started this on Friday and that's me done, I WANT MOAR

Shaun 15-11-2017 08:37 AM

Just finished it

Spoiler:

I assumed from Beastie's post that Mike died :joker: except I mis-remembered it and thought that Will would die at the end. So that was a nice surprise!

Intrigued to see what happens in S3 since 'The Gate is closed' and I'd imagine 008 features at some point... not really sure where else they can go, tbh.

Bob :bawling: I ugly-cried.

E8/9 was the tensest I think I've ever been watching TV, I don't think I've ever got up and started pacing around before (the scenes with the kids trying to escape the tunnel after torching it, in particular)

I saw a lot of hate for episode 7... well I didn't really 'see it' because I wouldn't read anything for fear of spoilers lol. But I kinda enjoyed it  the characters were a little bit silly stereotypes but part of me was just super-intrigued by 008 (I can't remember her name :worry:) I think she could be introduced as a main villain, I kinda got the feeling that she might be exploiting her gang into doing her bidding through mind-control (kinda like how she started to with 11 and the visions of 'Papa')... obviously don't know how, or if it even happens, and I don't particularly care about any of the gang anyway, lol, but she'd make a good subplot in the future.

Was a good episode to give 11 a fleshed-out character too, give her the chance to question what she wants, whether she's good or not, and obviously with Papa being alive (?!?!?) it sets the premise up for more stories there. I guess I hope they don't introduce any more kids with powers because I like this plot so much but I'd imagine there'll be more if they run out of ideas / Millie wants to quit the show bc the stans have got too much lol

did I mention Bob :bawling: oh and I want to give Dustin's mum a hug so badly :( a lonely lady with a penchant for cats and too much heart? She is me to a T.

I know a few people found Mike annoying this season (I'd imagine primarily because of how he treated Max?) but I do think people forget they're kids and I dread to think how I behaved at the age of 18, let alone 14... his mum and dad are far more annoying anyway.

It did get a little bit silly at times - Dustin's pet Dart just giving in and letting them go away with so little payment as a Three Musketeers bar* - Will just randomly going from Zombie Boy to 'random chick asks him to dance' - Billy in general being the archetypal "I act out bc my dad hits me" bully - BOB NOT PICKING UP THE ****ING GUN - but overall I loved it and perhaps more than season 1.

*this was also why I was convinced Will would die LOL, I thought 'The Three Musketeers' being a nickname given to their Halloween costumes was such a foreshadowing sort of thing for them to include... bc I've never heard of that candy before

Shaun 15-11-2017 08:46 AM

oh and Lucas > Dustin as King of the Pack, don't @ me

Niamh. 15-11-2017 09:02 AM

Nevermind pick up the gun Shaun

Spoiler:

If he had grabbed Joyce by the arm and ran out the door straight away instead of having a lingering look moment, they would have all got away :fist: Bob you sappy fool :bawling:

Shaun 15-11-2017 09:09 AM

Spoiler:

Well yes there was that  but he was a goner as soon as he knew he was the only one who knew how to get the power on / control the locks. :( For such an obvious 'good guy' and for someone who was in so few scenes, he's such a big loss though </3

Niamh. 15-11-2017 09:14 AM

Spoiler:

I know, I was surprised with how much I really liked him(especially since I was half shipping Joyce/Hopper) but you could see it coming a mile off.

I just watched Riverdale, I love it. Now started to watch Stranger Things. It's interesting so far.

Nicky91 10-12-2017 11:34 AM

i loved season 1, liked season 2 as well

and now cannot wait for season 3

Spoiler:

my fave characters are Eleven, Hopper, Joyce, Mikey, and D'Art such a sweet creature, he likes chocolates :flutter:

y.winter 15-12-2017 08:10 PM

Forgot writing about it after I finished watching series 2.
I guess I'm one of the few who couldn't get the hype around the second series. The characters were one dimensional, Eleven was literally irrelevant to the storyline, the new characters were useless (the new girl and her brother - was I supposed to feel something about them?), the sudden romance between Eleven and the main boy was too random and OTT, and you could sum the entire series in 3 episodes. There's no need in another series, but I guess they'll do a few more just because it has huge fan base.

Niamh. 15-12-2017 09:32 PM

It was hardly a sudden romance since it started in Season 1 though [emoji23]

But they were extremely in love in season 2 like they got engaged and had kids together, and they weren't like that in series 1. It didn't feel really convincing.

Nicky91 16-12-2017 11:03 AM

i find it so similar to my game Beyond: Two Souls

Gstar 24-01-2018 09:06 AM

Spoiler:

Oh at all the Bob love

If he carried on running instead of standing there and staring at Joyce like an idiot then he would of survived. His death was too predictable, from the moment I saw him I knew he was gonna die it was so obvious. One thing I did love is the episode where he clicked his fingers and the episode ended  was a tad iconic
