Just come off a pretty nasty but also pretty short-lived cold. Still got a very stuffy nose.

I’m also misophonic but people don’t usually get pissed off at making their own trigger-sounds (in my case sniffing), otherwise I’d literally be driving myself mad.

You could well be right.

My brother had it bad. He said it nearly killed him.

But if I did have it, I never noticed.

For pretty much everyone covid was a cold

ridiculous

the whole scam was artificially overblown by PCR testing.

What about all the verified deaths though ?

I’ll never forget the early footage of those temp Italian hospitals in car parks then the televised daily uk updates with thousands dying

I agree with you that the MSM did blow Covid out of proportion, and wrongly scarred and scared a lot of people with how deadly the disease was meant to be.

And I also objected to the whole "you have to take the jab or you'll lose your job" dystopian scenario that a lot of countries were enacting (but thankfully have now stopped due to the backlash from most people.)

However, it was not a "cold for everyone" either, the truth is somewhere in the middle of the two extremes.

Just woke up with a scratchy throat, thought I was getting better yesterday. :bawling: Baby is very upset trying to breathe with his dummy with a blocked nose.

…sometimes, massaging and soothing around their nose/nasal area can help and might distract and soothe him from not having his dummy and make breathing easier …I don’t know if he would respond to that …

That's exactly what I did when I was feeding him and it helped a bit

…yeah, it’ll help him to focus on you and the soothing motions on his face/around his nose and hopefully distract him from the dummy for at least a short while to get a little sleep…I hope that your able to get some rest as well, Jess……

If you are having a hot shower, take him in the bathroom with you, the shower steam will also help with his breathing
Hope you both feel better soon

I'm totally fine except for a bit of a cough. So annoying.

Yeah, they sell them in the pharmacy and supermarkets

Maru 30-04-2025 05:07 PM

Last two colds I had significant breathing issues, but the symptoms were similar to that of hub's (just less severe with the breathing)... so I can see some of the bugs that have been going around mimicking COVID. FWIW, I've never tested positive for COVID but I don't get sick often. Anyway, I have an inhaler now because I have seasonal asthma now apparently  Maybe I'm just old...

If only. They're still inflated in price here but I think it's because people don't test unless they feel they have to, plus it's backed by our insurance usually, so the company can put any price on it for OTC (over the counter)...
