Didn't Corrie have to do that as well?

Firewire 02-01-2017 04:14 PM

The May storyline was one of the best

A bit far fetched but amazing all the same

Denver 02-01-2017 04:17 PM

Dawn irritated me tbh

In 2008, the show was criticised for stereotyping their Asian and Black characters, by having a black single mum, Denise Wicks, and an Asian shopkeeper, Zainab Masood.
lol

May popping up at Dawn's car while she's trying to escape still gives me heart attacks

Denver 02-01-2017 04:24 PM

I lowkey miss Keith though

It was the dreaded Kirkwood/Newman crossover.

No but both Rita and Sam lost their jobs

That's enough to be annoyed about

Nobody said they had live.

I'm fuming that EE has a sh*t cast and killed two of its best characters.

Wizard. 02-01-2017 04:28 PM

Has anyone actually watched the alternate ending?

Cal. 02-01-2017 04:28 PM

Marsh spilled the tea all over our brand new thread.

Marsh. 02-01-2017 04:29 PM

It's funny though. Soaps like EE are gutted when people like Shabnam quit and don't stick around so they go through a high number of new and failed characters then they axe long termers who are happy to stay around.

Denver 02-01-2017 04:30 PM

Amy outperformed them each scene though

Gstar 02-01-2017 04:30 PM

I don't understand the producers intentions, the show has borderline depressing and then it started to get positive with a happy Christmas and now this :s

just don't get none in my hair

Cal. 02-01-2017 04:31 PM

I do think they were done as characters, at least for now, but that's not to say they couldn't have had a happy ending which therefore would have kept the door open for a future return once they'd been rested and once a producer came in that actually respected the characters. It was selfish of SOC to kill them off just because he himself didn't really care about them.

Daniel-X 02-01-2017 04:31 PM

I got my wig SNATCHED by Marsh the other week for liking the Mad May storyline, nasty cow he is.

Not even an alternate. They literally filmed a couple of shots of Sam crying.

It couldn't have been used without filming Ronnie at her funeral and then leaving with Jack.
It was probably one option the writers toyed with at the scripting stage and then maybe Sam and Rita both said if one was to die they'd rather both be killed off.

British Horror Movie made on a £1m budget realness.

Denver 02-01-2017 04:32 PM

They need to look at bringing characters like The Ferreira's and Darren back

It's Amy's fault this happened. Bratty little bitch.

All she had to do was appreciate Roxy's gift at Xmas. :(
