I sincerely doubt it.

Those are terrible ratings for CBB

Jason. 08-08-2017 01:37 PM

The ratings are terrible for both.

Thing is if tonight Derek had a massive row and called Trisha a vile little N word, then got evicted and tomorrow Paul smashed Sarah in the mouth breaking two of her teeth and got evicted and then on Thursday Barry shat in the kettle and got evicted by Friday we would be looking at 2.5 million

But is that good?

Jodie. 08-08-2017 02:02 PM

I don’t get why C5 are even trying to replace BB

The show is the reason why they were beating C4 sometimes?

Denver 08-08-2017 02:04 PM

I dont know where the CH5 are planning to replace BB with MOB rumours came from

I don't think it's direct, but it's definately their idea in the long term.

They've been testing out all their own, new reality shows to try and put the focus on them and take it off Big Brother, but it's yet to succeed.
They're airing MOB at 10pm, every night without question, yet to do that means moving CBB to 8:30pm on Fridays. BB18's scheduling was all over the place, yet this new show has a strict one. They are trying to priorities these other shows, but it's not working for them.

I think the show would probably be off the air if all those things happened. :joker::joker::joker:

But yeah I know what you mean. The highest rated episodes are always fight nights.

But that's the way it is whether we like it or not.

1) they have to try out other shows to move forward they cant just rely on the 4 or 5 shows that get them over a million viewer

2) If they put MOB first then it would air at 9 not 10

I'm not saying they're putting it first, but they're definately putting more effort into it with the promo, consistent scheduling etc. They just have big Brother because they have it, not because they want it, they don't even try anymore

No its about trying to shift an equal balance and not have to rely on a few shows to bring in viewers

EspeonBB 08-08-2017 06:50 PM

Make Or Break making BB look like a smash :skull:

pontyboi 08-08-2017 07:56 PM

I do think CBB will add a lot in officials tbh it's been up against a lot of competition. I still can't understand why tonight's eviction is only an hour though. They are Consistently to put it bluntly ****ing up.

Tuesday evictions have been an hour long for years. It's nothing new.

Do you know why that is?

It's always bothered me that the midweek Tuesday/Wednesday evictions are only 1 hour long and I've never really been able to figure out why they don't just extend them by 30 minutes

If I remember correctly, it's to do with the planning permission at Elstree during the week. They're only allowed to do a certain number of live shows during the week (Monday-Thursday) and I think they're restricted on time.

Perhaps it needs to change because a 35 minute highlight show and a quick 10 minute interview is a bit of a piss take to us fans don't you think plus we have to wait an hour for the proper interview on bots and possibly sit through the failure that is make or break....eek lol

I'm used to it, we've had it for long enough. I mean, it could be worse.

Thats cool but as a fan I want to see more of the housemates and an indepth interview seeing as we have no live feed the interviews are far more important now to get an idea what's actually going on in the house.

Celebrity Big Brother: 1.30m (6.4%)

Bonus rating:
Make or Break: 542k (3.8%)

MTVN 09-08-2017 10:37 AM

Hm hoped for a better ratings climb than that for an eviction

supertv247 09-08-2017 10:39 AM

Both stayed pretty much the same on Monday. That's impressive that MOB didn't lose any viewers, but CBB is still pretty low.

Rob! 09-08-2017 11:11 AM

Wow that's incredible retention for MOB.

As for CBB...urgh. I'm worried.
