Good to see the bandwagon rolling, all joining forces sticking their oar in.
Well done indeed.

I know which crowd I'd likely rather be in,IF I was ever in one that is in the first place ,and it's not the one in the posts above, that's for sure.

When I quoted you, you came back at me and said was I really expecting you and like others to believe now, younger people had problems coming out from other people.
I then gave clear examples,as other/s did too.

Then you dare accuse me of being aggressive.
Selective getting at me from you Cherie, you pulled no one else up,giving their example.

Getting at me possibly suited some possible agenda you have at present.
Anyway, your response of questioning and deriding me as to saying, young people do feel and get rejected in this day and age, just for their sexual preferences.
That got blown out the water as to your stance with other examples given,as well as my own.

As I said selective pulling me up but not others.

That statement is aggressive.

Yeah, I only see one poster getting agitated here.

A load of posts discussing aggression of participants of a thread? Weird forum. Perhaps CBB is basically so dull these days people get more fun trolling each other.

So ridic that I refuse to take you seriously. Maybe you can rephrase the question so that it seems thought-out on some level?

Doesn't seem angry to me and thought processes seem good. Maybe it's you not understanding her point?

That's what the boomers are worried about. How are they going to do their job, mixing with other people! People who may think differently from them! Eeeek! They'll have to make sure employers are building safe spaces and bringing in counsellors.

Of course - and this delights me more than I can say - give it 20 years or so, and that really IS a short amount of time although you won't believe that right now, but it is... there will be someone twenty years younger than you, young enough to know everything, and they'll be sticking it to you with their flimsy arguments and you'll be the one laughing.

Yet you are quite happy to have it only on your terms of reference

Many are unhappy about this and are viewing Shane's hijacking of the CBB entertainment programme and turning it into a Gay Rights scenario sucking the life out of it.

Everyone is equal on here and one persons opinion is just the same as another's point of view, it is called exchange of views, not sticking their oar in as even that applies both ways.

Who do you think has paid for boomers pensions

They have over the years out of their own pockets by paying their taxes

For goodness sake:nono:

I'm neither boomer or a millenial; and anyways don't have a problem with fair discussion, so I will be just fine, thank you very much. :smug:

You obviously DO have a problem with fair discussion. You're ageist for a start. Suggesting that the older generation need millennials to pay their pension shows a profound ignorance and a proclivity to go off topic when the opposition discussion is strong.

If there are any older people on here who were insulted by your post, I hope they lobby the mods to provide a safe space for them.

If so, mods will decide.
The older generation need working age people to pay their state pensions. The state doesn't put pension contributions to a separate pot for laters. The taxation pays for pensions. Basic finances. The argument is widely used in the media. So this agrument is a fail.

Twosugars 02-02-2018 11:05 AM

Gonna go and vote for Courtney, it may take a while. Happy to discuss fairly later, dear Livia.

More people have a private pension now... but really, you don't want to hear any of that and it was kind of off-topic when you first mentioned it.

I look forward to your next half-arsed post with great anticipation.

I'd imagine the older generation will have paid their pensions by working their whole lives?

You have just shown that you are neither by being unaware of the facts on the subject you have spoken on.

This is getting very close to baiting
